So MS Mondraker are now two riders less with Innes and Ragot gone, so who will fill the gap/s?
A little surprised that they might enter the season with just two riders. I thought that they would have
picked up Marine Cabirou. Junior Champ and crazy fast and rode their frame last year. Maybe her and her brother are a package deal?

If you read his instagram post, I get the feeling that the Innes thing just recently happened.

Maybe they can pick up Greenland?

Isn't that covered by the VPP patent? Or is VPP the new Horst Link? Or are they counter rotating the wrong way? I'm so confused. Big money deal so Rob can retire?

I had a look on their web site. I see no North American sales. That might get them past the VPP patent.
It is like all those brands that used the "Specialized" patent. All they did was wait until it expired in the States.

If you look really closly at the van in the background you can see a brand logo.

Can anybody

The only thing you can really see is that the head tube is definitely tapered.

Norco and Giant come to mind...

The current Canyon Torques do not have such a head tube.

The Demo's head tube is not tapered but has a bit of a bulge in that area.

What does the private consortium from the Netherlands have anything to do with patents and their validity? Specialized also changed hands a couple of times while the horst link patent was still in play.

Intense BTW also uses the VPP suspension under licence and has done that for YEARS, it's not just the M16.

Nothing. But both the frs and vvp pattents are free to use, the m16 is the first intense to not have vpp written on it. catch up dude ;o)

Santa Cruz shared the patent with Intense (And no one else.) years ago when they first built the V10.

The VPP just became "free" this past January. Patents can only be used in N.A. for 20 years. I remember reading that Santa Cruz did not even pay the fee's for the last VPP patent change, 6,488,301. That is for the counter rotating links from the newest version they produced. I think the Horst patent expired last fall. That is what my local Specialized dealer told me as he pointed me towards the Pivot's.

Nope, it's just the design of the Vapor pant from One industries.

Interesting! And it is a 951 not a M16. When was the picture taken?
Nothing official, the picture come from Pure Agency Facebook page when Loïc and Loris visit Kevin Joly shop. Kevin is the mechanics for Loris and Finn.

Ah, cool. This means that, more or less, you only have to be careful for the top link not to point towards the bottom one at the end of travel (the axis of the top link must not cross the axis of the bottom link between the two bearings, looking from the side view). That's the gist of it all in DW's patent.
