The axs DH was a standard X01 with a DH cage mounted to it and was a bit a DIY project.
I can hardly see the point in gx axs if I'm honest.
Could it be the axs suspension package?
EDIT: Oh, Pirelli, are they making the bike tyres themselves or just farming out the brand? I think that's what they are doing on the road? And Good Year doing the same for MTB?

I feel like it is AXS GX. Would be pretty sweet. They have an ad on PB with the GX that says "All Day" and it links to a page that says "All Day" close to 500 times.
Pretty sure that's GX AXS... someone just posted this in a facebook group... :)

Interesting. They use the original AXS paddle versus the new rocker one. Also, not sure why they include a multi-tool.
The battery also looks updated.
I don't get the whole All Day slogan. The batteries already lasted multiple days.
That would be awesome but considering X01 AXS components are twice as expensive as the standard ones that's unlikely.
MSRP for a GX shifter and derailleur is $170 so if it was double that we would be looking at 340 which would be not bad at all. (Should note MSRP for X01 shifter and derailleur is about $290) So it is really like 3x as much. Which if GX followed would be around $500 which would be actually right about where I think this thing will be priced.

Eagle mechs that last more than 6 months, I can only wish 🤣
Different way of clamping the rocker pivot, wonder if that's just for the prototype, or they see as there is a performance gain.
Additional stiffnes comes to mind. Maybe they decided to build the rocker in two parts in order to reduce costs and use the axle clamps to add stiffness. The bike itself looks already very polished though.
The way it's sculpted, the fact it doesn't have a rear brace and the way the shock butts up to the seat tube (or whatever the vertical-ish piece of the frame could be called in this case), I don't actually see a cross brace being included. Meaning the rocker is just two plates. Snugging a pinchbolt onto the axle means the rocker grips the axle and the axle itself provides the torsional rigidity. Less than ideal of course, since it's also on the axis of rotation and an additional brace would, including the axle, 'box things up'. Box sections have a tendency to be light and stiff when executed correctly.

What brace are you referring to? It does have a brace between the seatstays, do you mean between the 2 link plates/sides? The link looks smaller than the current bike so maybe it does not need to be beefed up a lot.
Gwins tire at windrock appears to be something new. Perhaps an updated Hellkat or something new altogether. The pinner was on major discount on the Kenda website so could it already be going bye bye?

Blackbox shock on the new session.
It always helps to have a link between them for stiffness. Though I remember Athertons cutting it away on the V3 Supremes back in Commencal days.
