It looks like Commencal don’t have a drive train and Brake sponsors? As the bike are running sram drive train.
The bike on Commencal’s insta website looks to have shimano brakes (not shimano discs)
But Pom-Pom’s bike has Code brakes.
Will the riders be choosing what they want?
Or have I missed something?

Hmm....let´s see. It´s gotta be a team that has been long established and not one of those changing names and banners every three years. It has to also present some sort of value outside of their product to be considered a great team and not just a great bicycle company. Something like the Syndicate, Nukeproof or MS Racing? All have great loyalty to their riders, great management and a seemingly good team atmosphere.
I think the Syndicate would be THE team for a lot of racers.
Any other suggestions?
"That one SPECIAL team....." she says.

I was thinking Commencal / Mucoff since she appear to be very close with Myriam & Thibaut. Spend a lot of time riding together last year...
I assumed syndicate, as they’ve lost a rider and wasn’t it a constant rumour that she might be going there?

Almost everyone was rumored to be going to the Syndicate at some point in this thread.. I think I'm about the only person who wasn't rumored as going to the Syndicate..

Hmmm... I heard you did not have a ride next year... And you liked a bunch of SC Syndicate posts lately... My bet is on you to fill the empty spot in the syndicate!

Guys... Hey Guys!!! Am I doing this right?

Thirion is still the (fairly) big name who could fill that spot in SCS... But possibly Scott, Giant...
Who else we are waiting for? Kolb?

Wish it was a new bike! Giant seem to be doing a trek and GT same bike same colours for a couple of years on the trot!

GT and Giant needs something different it’s like watching paint dry when a factory team can’t even be bothered to change up the colour of a bike it show how tight they really are

Remi Thirion to Giant, full announcement:

A new addition to the Giant Factory Off-Road Team for 2021, Rémi broke onto the international DH scene in 2013 when he stormed to a surprise World Cup victory in the pro men's field at Vallnord in Andorra. It was close to a home victory for the French rider who favors tracks that are steep, technical and physically demanding. In the years since that big win, Rémi has earned a reputation for pushing limits with creative lines. He has become a consistent contender in the races that count, with a number of World Cup podiums over the past few years. In the 2020 race season, which was condensed due to the global pandemic, Rémi was on top of his game, scoring a second-place finish at a World Cup in Slovenia and taking the bronze medal in the Elite Men's DH race at the World Championships in Austria.

That's good that the Glory's already his favourite bike ever. Must be some ride.

Food for thoughts:
Out of the Top 20 Men WC DH Overall Standings, after most team transfert done
13 are now on Fox Suspension
4 on Rock Shox
3 on Ohlins

Are Fox products that much better?
Are they (Fox) giving THAT much more sponsorship money ?
Are they offering such a superior support at the race?

If you would be a top 10 guy, would you rather have a "personal" custom support like Loic & Ohlins or be with the mass and go where everybody else go because you'd feel they truly offer something better?

I wouldn't really care. All suspension is so good these days and I suspect the big teams have a lot of say about what custom dampers they get etc.

I guess these guys are past the limits of the boxxers 35mm platform. I’m sure they will be back with something in the 38mm flavour by the end of the year.

Are giant going to bring in a new bike? As good as the Glory was. I feel Thirion could still easily have gone to a team with ambition. They must surly have a new bike in the works.

Ummm, not to be a jerk here, but Thirion has no real leverage to pick a better team, so not sure why you think that. Might want to look at his results and which way they are trending. He's a very course specific rider (an absolute genius on that style course) but he's not a threat for the overall. Never has been.

Also, per their usual effort, Giant didn't go after an overall threat unless Jacob Dickson catches fire. They constantly are a step below winning a title outright in any discipline. Makes me think of pro football & basketball where teams that make a profit can't draft for crap despite every opportunity.
