Stacked meaning they're signing Loris, signing a lady, AND keeping all their current DH?

Who would they pick up from the womens field. Cabirou? Farina? Siegenthaller?
A big name woman just left YT frames & I will let you guess the rest LOL.

Yoann teasing a looong and slack bike, donuts as covers... Maybe just a prank but it could actually be a more human version of the Grimm donut? For sure he is on hutchinson tires...
Being 17 and your dad running the team helps. He’s just a kid. Katy had 5 seasons. That’s a fairly long run in pro sports.
It should be noted that Ethan showed impressive speed before a concussion put him off the bike for a year and a half. Even if his dad weren't running the team, he's earned the chance to come back.
The flip side of that coin is that Katy didn't fall off the pace until her own concussion issues arose. I would have liked to see her take a year off to see if she could figure things out, and one could argue that she's earned that opportunity from Trek. As someone who is only beginning to recover from concussion-related PTSD after two years, I worry about her headspace and what physical and emotional issues she may be hiding. It's extremely difficult to ride your best when you are subconsciously terrified of another head impact, and the physical consequences of that stress are horrible.

Can Yoann's leaving Commencal be related to this? He was heavily Sram supported and I think was even sort of a development rider with them while riding Commencal. Maybe with that link drying up Yoann is staying with Sram and finding a different frame supplier?
Would be crazy, to see Loris on Commencal with Öhlins suspension to join the performance benefit and advantage of Loic... Would make sense, since the benefit in racing Öhlins is definitely there.

Yeah I think it was last year (2019) that Yoann switched from the Commencal enduro team to being a SRAM athlete that rode commencal frames

What are the chances of Sram/Trek doing a joint factory racing team with the current trek DH/Enduro rosters and Vali/Loris leading the charge? That could explain where the cash influx for trek to pull it off, loris leaving shimano, and Vali bringing sram factory with her. With Sram having that big a team as a commitment they couldn't support Commencal with the size of their stacked team.
Also, was Yoann supported directly through commencal head office or through commencal canada the last two seasons? Because he pretty much lives down the road from their squamish storefront.

In the picture his bike has an blue fork... so maybe DVO or an brand with an XC-bike

Looking a bit closer on the ol' gram I kinda think that may just be a Zeb. They do a grey for that fork which that looks kinda bluegrey to me

I would assume if trek were to sign all those people they wouldn’t have much an issue getting some additional funds from their support teams. I can’t imagine a trek team that has an equal sponsor however.

He did do a lot of things with the Canada office too, like building bikes and vlogging that and the like.
Regarding clues for Yoann's next frame...
-There may be a major clue as the godfather of freeskiing Mike Douglas is the one holding his bike. In what looks to be the Kamloops. https://www.instagram.com/mikedski/?hl=en There is serious ski company power/money and whistler media money behind Mike.
-While the Grim Donut would be something Yoann would like to ride, the bike needed refinement so someone would have had to fund the new frame costs.
-And, he needs to get paid to ride a frame. His coaching business is not enough income yet to ride a bike for fun. So IF he is on a donut, it's possible PinkBike is funding a bit or he's partnered with Mike somehow with Salomon or Whistler or something to get funding to ride the donut V2.
-Then there is the more obvious possibility that another brand has stepped in as a frame supplier (Kona, Forbidden, Norco, Cube, etc.). I kind of feel like it would be more of a brand that would be willing to build a Frankenstein bike for him as a test mule. Norco seems the most likely out of that bunch to do a crazy bike. But they are just about to launch the high pivot Range, so that's the bike they'd want him on.
Nothing at all we can suss out of this regarding gender, then?
Trek has a plenty good reputation in that regard. They have Tracy mosely as a uk/legacy ambassador and winton has not been getting great results. Rumor is trek is dropping a ton of cash to sign vali and I can only imagine Rachel’s bonuses are a big reason atherton bikes is possible. They also are paying neff a big paycheck.
Winton should hopefully end up with a contract somewhere. Hopefully she gets back to form where she ends up. But pro sports is extremely competitive and there are a lot of talented girls out there looking for a contract.
Of all the big bike manufacturers out there, the biggest one seems to be awfully quiet. They probably have a very lopsided (in a good way) balance sheet at the moment but mum's the word on anything in terms of mtb programs or sponsorships.
For both XC and DH, there hasn't been ANY news at all from Giant. No rider or bike rumors or new sponsorships or even backroom personnel changes.
So that would be a very stacked team.
