Seems like Spesh was 'taking the piss' with that IG comment.
Ext introduced two shocks and knock it out of the park it’s taken RS 20 years to come out with the super delux.
Ext worked with Lobe and citron.
EXT is in a different part of the market to RS and Fox. And by that logic, BOS also works with motorsport quite a lot (I saw mr. Bossard Jr. in an Andreas Bakkerud video, where he was suspension engineering Andreas' car, where it was mentioned they raced against each other in their junior categories).
But the requirements, from shock packaging, overall dimensions, flow characteristics, loads applied to them and pricing (if we are comparing MTB shocks to motorsport shocks) are completely uncomparable. General damping principles are the same and the general layout (piston moves through oil, oil flows through ports and valves, provides resistance), but that's about it.
How many automotive companies have made good bikes? Many have tried. How popular is Ohlins in the MTB world, is it the be all, end all product? I'd say no, while they are touted as kings in motorsport. How well has Penske performed in MTB products? They have been relatively absent from the Trek lineup after covering everything they made a while ago. And Vorsprung is happy to change the shocks and/or tunes on Trek bikes for an un-re:activ tune and saying the bike rides better that way. Etc.
Bikes are specific. Jeff says we can learn a lot from MX bikes, which is a point, but I still think there are a whole lot of things that work on MTBs and not somewhere else and vice-versa.
Troy Lee Designs commented on Loris Instagram post: „Gonna be mint, can’t wait!“
Trek is definitely not on TLD, but Canyon is and we know that they can afford big names (Troy, Fabio, etc.) and in addition, their team is managed or mentored by a French, Fabien Barel....
Maybe TLD just trolling us, or Trek will change from 100% to TLD.
If he goes to Canyon, then we end up with the same question: will any of the current riders leave them? Maybe Wallace to Devinci?
What are your thoughts on this idea?
I saw it kinda implied on the Instagram of Jordi’s girlfriend. I also inferred from the Instagram of Vergier’s cousin that Loris is personally supplementing Jordi’s income to make the move. Everyone knows Rock Shox sucks because all they focus on is MTB suspension while you can find Fox on FORD RAPTORS!
All you folks who know that Vergier’s success with Syndicate was a direct result of his funny banter with Jordi are totally right.
"Hey guys, of leave a generic comment or follow someone on instagram, they'll all freak out on the vital forum!"
Remember when we used to at least get vague puzzles and hints dropped over a few months to figure out? Those were the days. Now we just get fake instagram tip-offs.

She mentions 2020 being the end of her contract year so is she gonna stay or is she gonna move on?
Maybe not them, or maybe them too, but half of the WC circus is in full troll mode on Loris' post :D
Full time racing seeing they have been testing a new higher pivot bike. I think Unior might be the ones stepping back if anything.
