How much money do those carbon molds cost? What is Trek spending to just incrementally update their Slash? The front triangle is at least 2 pieces, then the chainstay, seatstay, and rocker give you a minimum 5 molds. If each mold costs $100,000, and you have 4 sizes for the front triangle, thats at least $1.1 million just for your molds.

So - build molds in China out of Carbon, name them Light Molds and, count the duckets?

Or, just move your fat ass forward on the saddle, keep the change??

Looks like there's plenty of space under the shock.

I was thinking this is probably the reason they didn't even bother to do a press release. They knew the comments would just be filled with slack seat tube angle hate and they didn't want to deal with it. LOL

Very well could be 2 degrees steeper. However when starting from 72 deg actual that is nothing to brag about.

I did some measurements on the screenshot of Lew Buchanan´s newest vid.
All measurements are approx., according to a lot of possible inacurracies (pic angle, distortion, etc.)
Just to get some geo ideas. This is supposed to be a medium sized frame (he talked about it in his first proto video)

Its not cheap but it doesn't cost that much. $250kish I would guess. Mold cost will very on size, a chain stay dosn't cost as much a front triangle.

Just a few days ago I saw another bike that had a very similar routing but I can't remember which bike that was... I think I saw it in a video?

The new Nukeproof isn’t a mega, it’s a new super enduro bike

170mm front and back
Well, this photo here might be a discrete hint of you being wrong, if I may.

Yeah yeah I’ve seen that, just saying what I’ve heard, I may be wrong.
