To me it looks like Ratboy just took the prototype Dh and put an eagle on to climb up to the top of revs wink

It's the bike that has been seen in the whistler lienup before. It's an 'enduro' thing, this isn't the DH bike as it doesn't have any front/upper shock mounts.

One of the Cannondale lads is riding an interesting bike in the new 50to01 video, looks like the proto dh bike from last year but eagle drivetrain suggests maybe more of a long travel "superenduro" type bike Photo

I posted about it a few days back. It looked like the proto habit.

Saw that exact proto at Mountain creek a few weeks back. Doesn't have an upper shock mount, but does have a mottle cage mount. That particular bike did not have a dual crown fork, instead it had a 170 mm fox 36, and Float X2.

Yea the DH based c-dale Enduro bike has been floating around this and the 2020 team rumors thread since last year. Waiting on those numbers and it's time to own a Cannondale.....

You can actually buy the new Slash at the moment, but no press release? Weird. Reading the comments there the new Knockblock 2.0 is removable and isn’t required if you dont want it.

How much money do those carbon molds cost? What is Trek spending to just incrementally update their Slash? The front triangle is at least 2 pieces, then the chainstay, seatstay, and rocker give you a minimum 5 molds. If each mold costs $100,000, and you have 4 sizes for the front triangle, thats at least $1.1 million just for your molds.

More Meh from Trek.

Seat tube still looks quite slack, agreed on the meh.

So - build molds in China out of Carbon, name them Light Molds and, count the duckets?

Or, just move your fat ass forward on the saddle, keep the change??

We've all heard that a million monkeys banging on a million typewriters will eventually reproduce the entire works of Shakespeare. Now, thanks to the Internet, we know this is not true.

I wonder if that Massive seat tube is hiding a battery and motor?

Looks like there's plenty of space under the shock.

I was thinking this is probably the reason they didn't even bother to do a press release. They knew the comments would just be filled with slack seat tube angle hate and they didn't want to deal with it. LOL

Very well could be 2 degrees steeper. However when starting from 72 deg actual that is nothing to brag about.

72? Actual? Trek? Did you mean 62?

Any ideas guys? New bike from YT or just an update for one their models? Photo

I did some measurements on the screenshot of Lew Buchanan´s newest vid.
All measurements are approx., according to a lot of possible inacurracies (pic angle, distortion, etc.)
Just to get some geo ideas. This is supposed to be a medium sized frame (he talked about it in his first proto video)

Its not cheap but it doesn't cost that much. $250kish I would guess. Mold cost will very on size, a chain stay dosn't cost as much a front triangle.
