Throw Eddie on a dual discipline team with Wyn and Martin hitting all the world cups and EWS's

The best screenshot I was able to take from the Canyon Sender. It definitely looks like they are rolling on big wheels. Full Fox suspension (49 in the front and a DHX2 in the back). I personally do not see major changes on the frame or on the linkage. So either Canyon only did minor changes or the FMD crew is still running the race version from last year which has been modified to run 29er wheels. ...but the paint job looks sick in my opinion, love it!
Remark: Canyon posted a teaser yesterday and hinted an announcement on January 17. I assume that they will introduce the updated or new version of the Sender on this day.
Canyon were testing 29” version of the bike after Leogang, I’m pretty sure I posted it on here then but got lazy so here’s a link...

There must be a new slightly tweaked bike on the way as even last season Troy and go we’re still running vivid shocks something that you couldn’t even buy after the deluxe came out the year prior.

Tks for your inputs. I am aware of this article. So bottom line I do not expect any major changes to the frame and linkage design. The bike has been introduced in 2016, but still looks like a modern DH bike - also in terms of the geometry. Mostly likely they only modified the bike to run 29er wheels. It will be interesting to see if they keep the current 27.5 version or if they will only offer a big-wheeled version.
I would say that with Troy Brosnan riding 27.5 wheels they would still make that wheel size available on market

Having seen the bike I can confirm that it is running a 26 rear 29 front. It really aids in corners and the steep stuff. They are calling it "Billy Ray Cyrus" geometry. In all seriousness though I can neither confirm, or deny, that it has wheels.

From that photo angle it looks more like 26 front and 29 rear. Much more appropriate to a proper mullet.

Does this help confirm that Ed Master is off Pivot? Presumably it was Eds hardtail and he's given it to his mate now that he's no longer with Pivot, looks like the guy has actually been riding it for a few months if you look back through his posts.
ed's been selling a couple of his phoenix's lately.
Moir had a big intense garage sale too, same with Graves selling anything with a "S" on...

Wouldn't surprise me if he moved on.
Their hardly going to ride last years bike when repin for their companies. New year new bikes sell the old ones for some cash perks of the job. Anyways its the 5th already and bugger all news just me chewing through mobile data on holiday

From Tahnee’s insta story. How come there hasn’t been an official announcment?
The news about FMD on Canyon was accidentally leaked by British Cycling (who listed the new sponsor on the profile page on their site already), so with the cat out of the bag, Tahnee is apparently starting to share some stuff. They still plan to make the official announcement on the date originally scheduled (which has yet to occur).
I thought Ohlins doesnt sponsor athletes? Do they sponsor racing teams?
you are right, they do not sponsor athletes nor teams. ohlins handles it the same as in MotoGP, Ralley or other motorsports where all teams/athletes have to buy the suspension components.
AFAIK they only sold their product in motorsport but they saw that is not possible with MTB and they do sponsor specialized. They must have some sort of an agreement in order for specialized to run their logos. They cover the sram logos on the drivetrain.

Öhlins never sponsors they only support athletes & teams that wanna run their suspension products,it's this way how Öhlins business model operates for over 40 years that professional athletes & teams are paying Öhlins ,Even a view years back when Dirt Magazine was at their HQ in Stockholm they don't want to talk about sponsorship.

same counts for MTB, specialized factory racing might get the suspension for "free" because of the hugh OEM deal they have with Öhlins.

New canyon is a fair bit different the junior is on the old bike in the insta clips

Think about it, makes complete sense.
