Ibis DH bike?? I'll believe it when I see it. Doesn't seem to fit with their brand. If they wanted to invest more in racing I'd think it would be in a more competitive factory enduro team.

Jeez he'd be lucky to give that POS away. Maybe a ritual burning for your bday Bulldog?
Let me get this straight Atherton's design frame win heaps of shit but nobody can ride it.Wyn's struggling week to week to lift the nose for the cameras brooks selling upoff to be a pro fisherman
Maybe its having a sly dog at them if the rumours are true, firs pic in a hole to tag GT in and its him falling off the bike haha not sure they want that kinda publicity

Devinci Global Racing Puts DH Program on Hold
Chicoutimi, November 28th 2016 – The year 2016 has been an emotional one at Cycles Devinci. The season started with great promise, as Stevie Smith was once again in World Cup winning form after several seasons marred by injuries. Things were bright on the Enduro scene as well; Damien Oton secured the second place in the EWS overall standings. There was also Magnus Manson’s unforgettable podium finish at the World Championships in Val Di Sole Italy.
Unfortunately, tragedy struck in early May, Stevie Smith was lost in a motorcycle accident in his hometown of Nanaimo, BC. This sad news was hard on everyone at Devinci and it also had a major impact on riders and fans all over the world. Steve’s contribution and commitment to the Devinci brand, but most importantly to the sport, will always be remembered.
Unable to put together a team that met our expectations, we took the decision to step away from UCI Downhill racing for 2017. It was an incredibly difficult decision to make, but we hope to return to World Cup racing in the very near future.
Our involvement in racing and the Devinci Global Racing Team has always been one of our top priorities. Although we are taking a short break from DH racing, our Enduro program will be going strong with Damien and Theo on the EWS circuit. We will also continue to support many great athletes and programs around the World in all cycling disciplines in their quest for the podium.
So sad not to see Devinci on the DH circuit next year, I was hoping they would keep pickup a podium riding to push the brand, sales and Steve's legacy alive.
I hope there are a few privateers still shredding the Wilson next season.
That sucks. They are focusing on Enduro more than DH, not that that's a bad thing, but they are just canning the DH team completely. Sure, trail bikes sell more than DH bikes, but it helps a brand to have a good image. Look at Santa Cruz. They pulled more support from the 'Nomads' and kept it on with DH, and they are having huge success, I would guess because their brand is viewed as 'cool'. More than one way to skin a cat I guess marketing wise, but hope Devinci is the exception rather than the rule for dh teams this year.

Of all the bikes of all the riders, Brook's bike would be the last I would want. I would never want that GT, but that's not the point. Brook smashes stuff so hard, "barely used" to me sounds like "possibly not broken"

haha, i think this everytime i see a pro bike for sale. I did a weekend thing with the athertons once and Dan was showing how to do a road gap on his 150mm travel AM bike, he was purposefully casing the 10/15 foot gap to make the corner.
I wouldn't take a single bike off these people if it had even one run on it, they are bike wreckers.
and with regards to bulldog, i heard he cracked the undead frames for fun when he rode for MS evil.

in the PR they said they're taking a break from world cup DH in 2017, not completely abandoning it forever. considering the year they've had w/ the loss of stevie, it doesn't seem unreasonable. it's a bummer either way, though
Not sure if Gstaad is still in the boat...
That puts Wallace and Vestavik up for grabs
Will they be just the frame sponsor for anyone? Or are they going to be like Rocky and make a bike
that no one rides on the WC.

From a reliable internet source.
The new look Syndicate...

There is a Loic Bruni interview imminent on Vital mtb. I wonder if there will be any speculations laid to rest?
