Of the three, I think he hit that steep section the best.

You cracked a bottlerocket? Didn't realize that was possible.

Why doesn't UCI just use this order for qualifying?
this is pretty great to see! I'm completely clueless about this so wishing there was some sort of commentary. Where's Claudio and Rob???

perfect inside line, awesome
I'm a fan of Gwin, but man, can't he say something good or supportive about his teammate having a good result?

I mean, obviously, its not a super scientific test, but the common response in forums is to just lose that kg/lg of weight off your body instead. I'd be willing to bet that the single lb/kg off the bike will have more effect than a single lb/kg off your body. That said, in terms of percentages, losing it on your is going to be much better. Generally speaking, I associate losing that weight with also being more fit. So in effect, you're losing the weight, but also increasing your ability to do work. Put them together and you're off to the races.
For me, I went carbon this year. Gonna have to focus on my ability to do work these winter months.

Wait, no more DGR? Source?
Ah, i get that. Not impossible though. I wasnt ever interested in canyon bikes until that berrecloth guy signed up. Riders with longtime fans like you have will follow you to the brands you ride for. This isnt news, though.

"A Trojan horse crossing chasms both far and wide,In it was stowed a Scotsman" Here's an alternative to Troy going to Canyon. Brendog to Canyon. He's a Scott rider and sponsored by TLD. Its wide speculation, but hey all in fun.
I feel bad for never noticing this, but there hasn't been a Junior Women's group? Also, what does it mean by a totally separate Junior Women's event? not the same tracks? why?

I'm actually more interested in hearing about Orton being in 2nd. There's so little coverage on him.

Why not spend a bit of time prepping the landing? I think he would've landed that very first one if his front wheel could've rolled through it. Looked like it got hung up on dirt.

I have a Capra AL (the lower of the AL models) on order right now. $2600 Shipped. Lyrik RC, Superdeluxe R, Code R, and SLX Drivetrain with e13 9-46 cassette.
I was actually considering the Spectral for a moment. I prefer Shimano's drivetrain, but that Eagle was tempting. Lyrik is nice, but I've not had a problem with the Pike. The biggest differences to me came down to wanting 29" wheels. The 2nd was confidence in the sizing. With the Spectral I'm at the top of the medium range and bottom of the large range for recommended sizing. I like the reach of the large, but not the seat tube length. I like the seat tube of the medium, but the reach seems short. So I don't have confidence in picking a size. With the Capra, I'm smack dab in the middle of the recommended heights for size Large. Plus it has a shorter seat tube which i like.
