Asa is U17...They don't seed and have to do all the go arounds of the big features.  U19 is the WC Junior class.

@sevenz - i didn't realize canadian open had a u17 class. thought u19 was basically any junior, so thanks for that, too!

Why do crankworx not provide split times for DH races? This is like Norbas in 1999 😂

Goes down to U15. Will be interesting to see how Camden Rutherford does in U15 Boys.

If hes still on pace after his win at Canadian nationals then he’ll certainly be up there

Most of the pro riders aren't riding. World Champs in 2 weeks and the rest of the World Cup season is their focus.

Did I miss the reason why Finn didn’t race during the broadcast?

Saw fin in the SRAM tent with a few people huddled around his hand, he was covered in dust

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall some u19s racing in elites in previous crankworks. Phoebe Gale and/or Hemstreet last year perhaps? Have they stopped allowing fast juniors to rank up? Kinda a shame if so. Maybe it was in womens only, or I'm just mis-remembering?

Anyone know why Hemstreet didn't race, btw?

Anyone know how bad Finn's injury is? He's one of the top dogs now, shame if he can't race World Champs again

Man...Rachel!  Scared the crap out of me.  I literally closed my eyes before she hit!

And yeah...in the replay of Jewitt, the slo mo caught both feet blown off the pedals when he waxed that stump out of the start gate.  The double he did rock to rock was gnarly!!!

Yeah that was the worst crash I’ve seen in a while.  A heavier rider and I think that bike would’ve just snapped in half instead of ejecting her otb.  Amazed she doesn’t seem to have a significant injury.

She's had a laundry list of injuries that held her back so been hoping she can have a healthy year of racing in 2023.

Anyone find any footage of the gap to slab to mega fucked left hander.  I understand why there wasn't a live feed cam there but it would have been a blast to see the action from that spot.

Also what a great race.

Was suprised at camden finishing 12th but turns out he got red flagged in his first two race runs then ended up having a crash in his third run.
