wow big change with the (men's) broadcast apparently not being on redbull tv in the US this year... bummer Men’s Broadcast : Saturday, October 12th at 12pm ET/9am PT on ESPN+ in the U.S. and on Red Bull TV in all other countries.

any rumors of EWS racers getting a shot at a rainbow jersey in 2023? XC world champs is in the Tweed Valley Aug 12, would seem like a perfect opportunity to bring enduro into the World Champs fold. there is no EWS race that weekend.

For those struggling with the VPN. Easiest way to do it is on your phone or tablet. Download a VPN app you haven’t used before (if you want the 1-2week free trial, and you get completely free viewing). If you have an AppleTV and an apple product you can airplay. strikes me as similar to the difference between riding with a QR seatpost clamp and a dropper post. we all used to keep the saddle high until we reached the top of a descent and then drop it once until we got to the bottom. most of my riding is up, then down, so in the early days of droppers I didn't think the dropper post solved a problem that I had with my riding. but then you get a dropper and realize how amazing it is to be able to drop your saddle for every corner, for a quick...

I think the current format is pretty good, personally. my thought is a much more subtle change -- just get rid of 1-100 point scores entirely, and rank each rider against everyone else without a point score attached. Brendan would've been in first after his first run down, and the judges wouldn't need to score him artificially low to "leave room" for better scores later on. if the next guy throws down a better run, Brendan (and everyone else below him) would get bumped down a spot. from a spectator perspective, the point differential between the riders doesn't seem to...

thanks Vital, you guys rock! this was a pleasure to read/watch. usually I much prefer reading and still pics to videos but this video review was amazing. maybe I missed it, but did BT and SW have favorite bikes from this test, regardless of the fastest and perceived fastest? or maybe "perceived fastest" is a proxy for their favorites?
