Those new Conti tires might have the worst MTB product names I can think of. I haven't even looked at the tread design because I'm so transfixed by how bad the branding is.

I think the comments on the chonky downtubes being partially to condition people for e-bikes is totally a part of what's going on. They're making larger downtubes for batteries and storage. Bikes looks similar. Look at Stumpy EVO.... lots of people think its an ebike.

Putting my tin foil hat on: chunky downtubes are there for us to accept the looks of ebikes.. Tinfoil hat off.

Something tool-less to measure SAG on hard to reach shocks, e.g. Santas. Have some ideas, but don't wanna limit ur playground.

I'm very sad we won't get to hear Loris vocalize this portion of track for Jordie's entertainment.

Yeah, I'm definitely more interested in TRP knowing a few high level riders have chosen them when they had options from S/S. Like, Neko is running TRP brakes but SRAM drivetrain, and basically said that he was choosing his favorite components, rather than what offered him the best deal.

America, land of the free, where it is your right to burden the population as a whole with the consequence of your bonkers views on medical science. If I was a racer I'd be much more worried about the long term effects of getting a respiratory illness than the fact that someone's mum's cousin's friend had a reaction to the vaccine

Can you shitbirds keep your worthless political opinions out of this thread and keep the conversation based around who we can confirm will be competing at the first World Cup? The UCI isn’t the French government so it’s not (yet) a problem of the sport or its governing body. Try to focus and go troll your uneducated (unless you’re an epidemiologist) dreck somewhere else.

As a sponsored international athlete, particularly one that has travelled to the US more than once, the expectation is that the athlete knows what not to say, especially in the wake of the events of the past year and the civil rights protests that were seen all over. Unfortunately, the nuances of culture are not easily translated even to those who speak the language fluently, let alone to a foreigner who barely speaks it. Truth is, what Amaury posted is a racial slur. Is he racist? I honestly don't think so. However, if he posts or posted a similar racial...

France is not America. This is very hard for some people to understand. I speak French and have spent a good amount of time in France. It's a totally different culture. They look at American culture through the fog of distance and a second language. He wouldnt understand for a second why a word can be said by some people but not by others. He should obviously by educated as he is now an international athlete, but I don't hold anything against him. Live and learn.

I have seen some people say that Amaury didn't understand the context of what he was posting because he is French. Maybe that is true--we have no way of knowing what he did or did not know before he posted. It is possible that he did not fully understand what he was saying because it was not in his first language. If that were true, I still think it would show a different kind of poor judgment--it's not a good idea to publicly use a word without knowing its meaning. But ultimately, as I said before, none of us here...
