6/7/2024 9:55am I see the Basquiat influence, however, they're doing wayyyy too much and the execution is just not there. There's a saying out there that goes like this, "nothing is good with everything, except an everything bagel". Meaning that by trying to please everyone, you're actually pleasing nobody. So focus on the things that are good and scrap the ones that...

5/27/2024 9:22am Old person here. Rampage is too groomed. It's so 'mid' now. 90ft jumps are not the norm for pro's......not even the darkfest crew. I know some of the 'boyz'. Most of them are scared shitless. *You're The event is owned and run by RB. The diggers (some of the Dyfi crew) are contracted to build/maintain the course. Dh is a minority sport.....but that does'nt mean that there should be a high chance of death for a minor mistake. Both Bk's and Jims jumps could have gone very, very, very badly wrong. It's bike racing.....not Beyond Thunderdome (ask your Dad). I'm going back to my...

If you watch the video, the integrated protection is part of the suit. They have integrated chest, back, and elbow protection as part of the under "jersey" thing. Honestly, the integrated protective jersey looks great, as the worst part of elbow pads is that they always slip down!

4/26/2024 8:40pm If only a few details have changed from the actual Trick Stuff brakes, wouldn't that mean they probably work about the same and just look a bit different? While the similarities are undeniable, these seem like a really cool and affordable option so long as we don't see Intense Factory riders flying off the track or blowing up sets of brakes throughout the year, .

3/22/2024 10:24pm I would disagree, the day before the event is the best day to make your point, this has probably been simmering for a while and talks would have been happening behind the scenes. The riders knew before leaving home that this was going to go down, and and I would be surprised if crankworks/red bull didn't know, and just figured they would ride instead of risk loosing a pay cheque.

3/22/2024 10:23pm If the fans are paying a gate fee, the riders should be getting paid at a minimum to show up. Like every other stick and ball sport with a paid venue. The lowest level MLS guys and CFL guys doing it for the "love of the game" with small niche audiences are still getting enough salary to pay rent, even though it is terrible pay compared to big USA league sports.

3/22/2024 10:21pm While no athlete is ever owed a living by anyone, when (edit: or if) the organisers are making money by selling tickets and advertising, then the competitors are absolutely within their rights to expect appearance fees, IMNSHO. The riders are the singular reason the whole circus exists!

3/22/2024 10:19pm Without the athletes you do not have a show to put on... So ya, they should be paid a base amount to compete, that goes for all professional disciplines where a gate fee is charged to watch the event.
