Alleged, not charged and no conviction Roque Racing, small team and I assume a small budget. Maybe his “baggage” priced him into a smaller lesser known team. Antonio Brown of the NFL was convicted of assault charges on his wife and the NFL still let the guy play. Not alleged, convicted. Give TD a chance until he’s charged and convicted. Too much bashing of riders on the forum based on speculation and not facts. Leaning into slander in some cases imo

Try 10 years.. Sam was on Nukeproof from 2013-2023 and Sram/Rockshox for nearly 20 years (2005ish to 2024?) Regardless, stoked to see him and some other "old dogs" race Hardline in less than a month edit, apparently I can't count because 13-23 is 11 seasons

SH: "...It’s actually been super disappointing that many long-time sponsors that I have stayed loyal to throughout my career can’t even make an effort to reply to emails or messages." Damn, choosing to not pick up the phone/email when SH calls is a choice for sure. He's not on top of the game anymore but at least pitch him some gear ffs.

Another great podcast! I would definitely race a vet class that isn’t just Cat 1 30+.

Everyone should be excited for the new trek rider. We didn’t talk about this on the podcast, but there’s a previous World Cup podium contender switching to enduro as well

Remember the YT Mob is just the frame and team setup, allowing for a lot of personal sponsors

No! we know Vali and she's the champion but its an announcement for Kolb joining the team (look at the top of the picture) why on earth would they put someone else in front of the actual new person joining the team ?

Dan wouldn’t even be able to qualify for a final. Being a fast rider at your own bike park you ride everyday is completely different from racing world cups.

Word on the street is that GM was given (nearly) unlimited budget to sign whoever he wants, and was even going as far as trying to buy riders out of contracts or steal them from other teams. Seems like norco/GM will do anything it takes to win next season

I could be wrong, but if done correctly, the co-sponsors can often cover a big chunk of the expenses for the title sponsor. For example they seem like they have a good relationship with continental, and they were the first major time i remember signing on with them when no one really trusted them yet. Doing the gates thing could be another way to grab some money for the team, if gates or pinion is sponsoring the team.

Won a wc overall for one. In snowshoe in front of the American fans. Been in that 5-15 spot for most races. Probably not what she wants but also not exactly bad either.

No offense to the new riders, but Trek's strategy appears to be switching to lower-cost riders for 2025.

Commecnal Muc-off team is owned and run by the Ruffin brothers as far as I know and I'm pretty sure their parents still work for the team? Someone else might know more in here. But basically the story is Thibaut Ruffin got injured while racing years back, and as he was recovering he put effort into starting his own team (sponsors, van etc..) and went racing with the family the next year in a camper van. The team has grown from there to what it is now, still owned and operated by the same family. In terms of safety, what...

For me it was more so the Mostro tire that brought the overall score down for Vittoria. I've spent a fair bit of time on the Mazza/Mazza setup and really like it; however, I do think a couple tires like the High Roller, Contis, and E13 Grappler tires felt a bit better at higher speeds than the Mazza/Mostro combo.

They aren’t for everyone, but they are the most predictable tires because you either have traction or you don’t, there’s no nonsense in between moments where you’re not sure if they’re going to hook up. The harder you lean, the more they grip. They also brake very we’ll in straight lines, and as I’ve spoken about before on the B Practice podcast, I’m a straight line braker hahaha They definitely aren’t for everyone and take some getting used to, but I know that tire so well that I know exactly what it’s going to do in every situation. One thing...
