1/20/2022 10:21am Get out of hear with your uncomfortable facts. I've heard all the different vaccines, made different ways and using different ingredients and different technologies, are all 100% safe and effective in exactly the same way and that's all I will ever believe. Please don't make me confront my beliefs, mods. Can we please just remove all the comments that go against the narrative?

1/20/2022 10:00am i knew this post would be a shitshow, but i think this is an important piece of info for world cup racers to consider. media and team people, too. quite frankly, i'm really surprised that anyone responds to trolls or argumentative people on either side of an opinion in an internet forum these days. the simpsons still say it best 27 years later. just don't look (if you don't look or respond, it means nothing). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlKao_Pox5A

1/20/2022 9:14am Oh man. I would get 4000 Shingles shots regardless of what was in it to avoid getting that shit again. That was some of the most painful and frustrating months of my life. Couldn't do anything without pain. Even the breeze blowing a shirt against me was agony. Took months to overcome and even 7 years later i still get weird tingles in the area where i had it and start freaking out that its coming back!

1/20/2022 9:13am Thanks for the facts Lucent! People seem to forget that their children must have certain vaccines to attend public school, in the US. My Dad remembers getting the polio vaccine, no shot…just a drop of liquid on a sugar cube. Speaking of measles…I’ve got to get my 2nd Shingles vaccine this month.

1/20/2022 6:01am Get help. It has been long since I have seen a more racist, oblivious to scientific facts, opinionated and downright dumb (hereby referring to your apalling “shot for shot” stupidity, you are the perfect example as to why guns should not be for everybody) in this site. Get help, and leave your shit at the door when you come on here.

1/20/2022 5:44am You do not seem to travel much or have a job demanding certain vaccinations, or? There are tons of countries that demand certain vaccinations if you want to enter the country, even if you do not plan to travel to the areas where the diseases vaccinated against are endemic. These vaccines are often as effective as the Covid vaccine. A lot of jobs in medicial professions, as animal keeper, in biotech, at the wastewater treatment plant, etc. require vaccination for certain diseases that you might be exposed to with your work tasks. Do you hear people complaining about that? Either...

1/20/2022 5:32am Waiting with the tested vaccine and risking infection with a virus, that can easily destroy your lungs, among other things? I mean it does make sense to wait, but only if you're taking ALL precautions to prevent infection as well. Traveling around the world is hardly that :/ UAE Emirates team was, apparently, vaccinated in january 2021. You know, the team of the two time Tour de France winner
https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/uae-team-emirates-given-covid-19-vacci… https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/uae-team-emirates-taking-no-chances-wi… I'm not sure they would gain much by claiming this and faking it behind the scenes to be honest. Even more so by taking the Sinopharm vaccine (which...

1/20/2022 5:05am I get that point, but the scientific literature is quite clear on the fact that a Covid infection is more likely to have a negative impact on performance than the vaccine. Especially when thinking about long-Covid. If I was a pro racer I would probably have tried to time as much of my vaccinations with the start of the off-season to minimise the effect on my training. However with the Booster requirements that seems a little tricky to get just right. Anyhow, wouldn't most pro racers and their teams already be vaccinated to be able to get around most travel...

1/20/2022 5:03am Endcaps? Hard pass. Haven't had to worry about losing those in decades. Dual-clamp grips died because it sucks to have something rigid dig into the outside of your palm when you grab the end of the bars. Why rewind the clock back to both of those headaches?

1/20/2022 4:10am Can you imagine someone demands entry to the US but does not want to obey the rules that are set for entry? I cannot see that going well. So I think France and Europe have the same right to enforce their rules and laws, especially considering that something of so little importance as a sporting event is affected. Wasn't it a couple of years ago when some DH racer was not allowed to go to Canada to participate in the Mt StAnne WC race because he had a DUI in the us?

1/20/2022 4:09am Started typing a response but after a couple years of seeing your posts decided it wasn’t worth the time. Where’s the block feature vital? I don’t need a safe space but this site could be more enjoyable if I could select to not see what one or two people has to say.
