Vaccines are still very much effective in the Omicron variant to prevente severe disease and death - Check this from WHO I'm with you on the topic of vaccines side effects and in regard to bizutchs post. Case reports mean nothing in epidemiology. I too know dozens if not hundreds of people who are double our triple vaccinated and had 0 severe side effects from it. On the other hand, and being a healthworker on the respiratory area I have seen a lot of people who had post COVID symptons for months, even if the acute disease was very mild.

I'll dive into this pile of BS thread head first for 1 post. I get to see people die at work from covid everyday, I haven't seen one vaccinated person die in the last 2 months If you want to control covid in order prevent the most deaths you have 2 options, vax and masking or super strict lockdowns and masking. In the US, the only way to get people to vax at a much higher rate will be for health insurance companies to refuse to pay covid related treatment costs for those that choose not to be vaccinated.

Are you dumb? If you look on your own link to the statistics of Italy you will see that you are having 100-200k daily cases since December and 200-350 daily deaths related to that number of cases. One year ago (Nov.-Dec. 2020) before the vaccination you had 20-35k daily cases and 550-800 daily deaths related to that cases. And this is data from the link you posted... So after vaccination and with less restrictions on day-to-day life today you have 3-5x the cases and less of half daily deaths related to that. I dont know how you can show more...

Do you possess the ability to read? There are countless studies vowing for the effectivity of the vaccine, some of which have been cited in this same thread. But here you come with your baseless claims with no data or anything to prove them, other than having listened to them from Joe Rogan, Alex Jones or some top secret dude on Facebook.

Maybe put some effort in if you really want to know, but I don’t think that’s the point you are trying to make. Here are some results from my searches: https://www.mayoclinic.org/coronavirus-covid-19/vaccine-side-effects https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/coronavi… This one looks at people who got placebo doses and will be a good read https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle/2788172 Support Groups: https://www.meetup.com/find/?allMeetups=false&keywords=Support%20Groups…

Bro - First of all - take heed that suggesting that acts of violence and/or threats of violence being introduced in chat rooms can't be left ignored. Stew on that Second - don't go and insult actual healthcare workers by pretending to have earned public trust within the field. And if somehow this was even slightly based in fact, you'd be found to be incompetent. You've got some serious, serious mental health issues - in spite of this being a bicycling forum - and no one here is going to change your mind. Florida - maybe your FDLE would like...

Reading this while taking a shit after a LONG day building pumptracks in florida. Why was it so long? Millennial anti-intellectual un vaccinated pseudo libertarian co-workers are all fuvking useless with Sars Cov19, all the un-boosted members of our team are all down for the count right now. As a former mid-20’s libertarian douche i am sympathetic, but BROSEPHS: science is real. Yes “big pharma” is stacking benjamins, but science is reall! As is my fatigue for taking up the slack for people who are science-skeptical.

Yes, it’s really unfortunate that this happened to him. He only gets brought up every single day in the pink site. Anecdotes about a mountain biker who had a decent following and as a result we all know his name don’t stand up to the mountains of evidence that you are significantly more at risk for severe long term symptoms from covid infection than you are from getting the vaccine.

America, land of the free, where it is your right to burden the population as a whole with the consequence of your bonkers views on medical science. If I was a racer I'd be much more worried about the long term effects of getting a respiratory illness than the fact that someone's mum's cousin's friend had a reaction to the vaccine

According to NHS data, in 2020 and into 2021 the average age of death with no other underlying condition was older than the the average life span, about 82 years old for men. So no, the literature is not clear at all in regards to supporting your point. NHS data is one of the best data sets we have available. Stop spreading lies. Why is there such support for fearmongering these days?
