I haven’t had this problem yet, but I’m wondering if you could go to The Hardware store and buy a nut to load onto the B-screw? You could counterset the nut against the B-plate on the derailleur, as if you were setting preload on a cup and cone hub. Might work.

yep without a doubt. The current bike is too small for me. I've ridden ~500mm reach bikes before and took to it like a duck to water. The wheelbase and chainstay are the wildcards for me. This could be the best, or worst decision I've made.... and I'm married lol!

All carbon (wheels, handlebar, crank and frame), tire are not so heavy, the big betty is 1150 g and the magic marry is 1250g. The coil is not so heavy too, it's like 800 g, with the RS superdeluxe (450g) the bike is approx 14,5 kg. The frame was totally sand so, there isn't old paint on it yet, I saved couple grammes...

Optimal travel is less about pedaling and more about pumping. Both of these bikes will pedal great (heck, my Megatower pedals great), but as soon as you need to put body inputs into the bike, you're going to feel the increased suspension travel robbing your efforts. Imagine riding a pumptrack on a full suspension vs. a hardtail. The extra travel makes it harder to pump up to speed on flatter terrain.

Hey Ya all, I'm Big Bird a.k.a. Josh Walters. Born in '71 in Pasadena, CA. I've grown to be 6'7" and used to get a lot of air, thus the nick name Big Bird. I've also been known as Waltiballs in the past. Before I was 6'7", my first bike was a Schwinn Stingray which I eventually converted into one of those new BMX bikes that all the cool kids had and started doing curb jumps. Then the dark days of Breaking Away came and I got a road bike. That was thankfully stolen and replaced with a Schwinn Sidewinder...

An injury derailed my riding plans. So they've just been sitting on my workbench for now. I can say they feel like they might stick to the ceiling though. Can't wait to ride them. Regular competition line front Magi X2 was 1050 and rear Gum X was 1200 for comparison.

ya probably fixable with 1 more token. I just bumped the pressure to 25% above my recommended weight, but now not using all the travel. Doesnt feel harsh but know it can be better on small bump. I think it just felt much more linear than my old 36. I think a token a little less air and some more LSC and it will be good.

Have you tried running more pressure/less sag in the fork? Similarly, I’d mess with tokens, too. Spring rate is much more important for suspension feel than damping, especially for tuning bottom out, so I wouldn’t assume it’s the damper’s fault until you’ve tried a host of different spring rates first.
