2/8/2025 12:54pm I thought Asa was more Bernard like, kinda out of control speed style. He was mega charging at the top. I'd say Jackson is the smooth and controlled style, he squashed the top drops so hard he landed so far up on the landings, made it look like he was barely moving.

2/6/2025 2:12pm I don't believe it fits as the 38 air-spring is housed inside a sleeve in the stanchion, so is most likely a smaller diameter than the Zeb air spring. They're are quite a few mods/products you can do to make it more linear. But at the end of the day, its still an airspring, so it can only be so...

2/5/2025 12:42pm The drag isn't rolling drag, it's efficiency loss from pedalling, after the road gap at hardline you don't pedal, so a gearbox wouldn't cause a problem there.

2/2/2025 12:45pm Well the tariffs are coming. Good luck to DaVinci, Norco, Transition etc, brands that do a lot of cross border sales. I wonder since a lot of the frames are made in Taiwan and shipped from Taiwan they won't be tariffed. Unfortunately products like Vorsprungs new shock will now be 25% more expensive for Americans.

1/29/2025 3:47am Its possible you just got a lemon. Bad bushing tolerances, slightly bent uppers causing alignment issues. Plenty of valid mechanical reasons why your fork can be bad but others good. Its not just setup related. Sometimes a product is a dud. I'd go Ohlins, out of the box they provide the best damping. Only thing comparable is much more expensive...

From my observations, it seems swapping to a different resin, or even just using more or less hardener in a resin mix, can make a huge difference in the overall feel of a structure. I have run into this when trying various carbon fiber shell saddles (with no cover or padding) where a bit of flex is really critical to making them sufficiently comfortable.
