Based on my experience, Specialized stock levels in Canada for sought after models is a joke. When the Epic Evo first came out, no Canadian shop had a sworks frameset available. I had to do a 10 hour round trip to the US, do two COVID tests to cross the border and pick one up. Funny enough the relatively small...
Everyone keeps talking about how long travel non-assisted bikes just aren’t selling. People are buying e-bikes in that category. I wouldn’t be surprised if they aren’t in a rush to fill that enduro spot. I saw something the other day, that said last year the blur and v10 were Santa Cruz’s best selling bikes without motors. The mid to long travel segments are really going to e-bikes these days. Wouldn’t be surprised if specialized isn’t the only one going oops we forgot about our enduro bike for a few years.

They used to make some really nice frames. Now it’s all made and designed so poorly. I can’t tell you how many things on the few I’ve owned that could EASILY have been improved or fixed with 5 seconds of thought. I could within 5 mins of unboxing my frame I found multiple disappointing features. It’s upsetting they charge premium prices for low grade quality. Still fun bikes if you get a discount but for full price you’re getting basically catalog frames with the lowest quality hardware. I went from a transition to a Santa Cruz (the frame cost 400...

Hopefully lighter, too! I really liked the Tallboy, but it weighed basically the same as my Hightower.

my best guess that it is a tunable cartridge of the air spring, giving the airspring negative (?) more volume, like on their shocks. You can buy "LinearXL" air cans for the super deluxe, so I assume this is the same idea. These forks should feature "air preload", whatever that is. Screenshot from new mondraker DH bike listing: Edit: This tech has been seen featured on the next gen Zeb as well.

I once sent PVD an honest question by email about a technical drawing on his website and he answered : "W hat your asking falls into the 'that's a stupid question' category. Only a terrible person would answer a stupid question." Such a nice guy

It's not a knowledge or concept problem. It's an attitude problem. PVD is TOXIC.

Rulezman, Jan Heine, PVD, Grant Peterson... cycling seems to perversely reward people with big egos, big opinions and questionable applications of scientific principles.

Speaking of syringes, this $4.50 turkey flavoring grocery store special has similar hardware/interface to the $100+ SRAM kits, gladly accepting their attachments, as pictured. No idea if it actually works for a bleeding job or if one could pull any useful vacuum with it.
