Rear triangle had tolerance issues and needed replaced. Linkage was extremely creaky, like wildly loud. Turns out the lower link and pivot hardware needed replaced.

I'm pretty certain that Transmission doesn't "know" anything about position of ramp cogs. The system has a stiffer chain, more precise alignment between the derailleur and cassette, more force from the derailleur, and a refined ramp pattern. When you queue up multiple shifts, you immediately hear the bzzt bzzt bzzt of the derailleur moving, then the chain works it's way up/down the cassette. If it knew where the ramps were, you'd click click click, then it would break up the bzzt as gears changed. XTR shifting in my experience is quicker if you time shifts. T-Type (I have on an...

Dude, they handling and geometry is very much understood here and basically the exact reason concepts like this exist at all. Telescopic forks have pretty glaring drawbacks when it comes to things like brake dive and friction so this is one way to get around it, while preserving good handling traits

Not accurate. Plus none of the teams like going there and the track is sub par at best. Lodging was twice as expensive as Lenzerheide which was ridiculous because the rental houses are really run down.

I really enjoyed the whole season. Apart from missing a few on screen graphics (did redbull have the ip on this?) I've preferred watching this season. Biggest complaint is there's so much to watch! Sure the commentary isnt 100% but it took Warner et al 5 years or so before it was "good". Having juniors televised for free is freaking awesome. We're now watching and talking about riders before they hit elite. The semi is great, really shaken up the pot. Makes you wonder if the past few years protected riders were always on the stream because of their silver...

They absolutely destroyed the pits that night...we had locked literally everything inside but there was still trash everywhere. Lots of teams had stuff stolen and or damaged. Not my favorite venue to be honest. One guy tried to steal my wheelbag on the way to qualies and I almost crashed my rider's training bike super hard. I had to rip my wheelbag out of his hand. Had the trainer on one side of the handlebar and the bag on the other.

They have done some things right and some things need improvement. Exactly what we expected switching to a new format and Discovery. So many people on here are so misinformed it's mind-blowing. Blaming ESO/Discovery for UCI and vice versa. Change is automatically scary to the misinformed and fear is the mindkiller.

Honestly I think the commentating has gotten better the last few races (or I am just used to it). Gwin is a massive part of that, but the dynamic with CG has improved and somehow I don't mind Ric as much as many do? Sure it is nowhere near the level of Rob but it's lightyears better than some of what I've heard at Crankworx DH races in past years before they got Rob (no hate on Needles, Tracey...). Miss Rob/Eliot/Claudio dearly but have really enjoyed watching the racing this year.

Man... I'd love to see Rob back but that's poor form in my opinion. The guy is trying and I see his game improving. I have noticed he has been popping up in the background of vlogs and track walk videos more often. Broadcasting is a tough game and I'm sure if we went back to Rob's first 9 races we wouldn't be that hard on Cedric. One of the things I love the most about watching downhill is rooting for everyone to do their best. I'm rooting for CG as well.
