Is it possible that Graves chose not to resign a contract? We have no idea what is happening behind the scenes, what they have done to help him or haven’t done. Maybe he doesn’t want to possibly take a spot from an active racer. To blame Specialized right now seems like a reason to hate based on the past.

Your blinker fluid is probably due for a change. But seriously, go to your local bike shop. It could be a myriad of things causing the noise. They will be more than happy to help diagnose and solve whats going on and get you back on the trails again.

I'm unconvinced. I've unboxed many bikes from many large manufacturers, and I've never found one that can be properly built up & adjusted in ten minutes. Derailleur hangers are rarely straight; cable tension usually needs to be dialed in; brakes often need alignment, piston resets, or even bleeds; rotors are often out of true; hubs are frequently tighter than ideal; headsets aren't adjusted well... etc. I've seen all of these on bikes from old-school dealer-sales manufacturers; I've seen the same problems on bikes from direct-to-consumer companies. Maybe Canyon has perfected their build procedures so that none of these are issues...

I'm having trouble with the argument that bigger wheels somehow offer too much control or stability, coming from a team that spends such a significant amount of effort suspension testing with a dedicated telemetry bike in practice, with the goal of achieving better stability and control. And what if the bigger wheels are faster? It's not like they ride themselves down the track. That extra speed will still need to be controlled in addition to the steep price to pay for mistakes that scrub momentum as the bigger wheels do not accelerate as quickly. I'm not sure I'd agree that...

Yeah, no one has finished on the podium consistently on flats except for Sam Hill... and Kovarik, Rennie, Blenkinsop, Smith, MacDonald, Cullinan, Palmer, Pascal. And Gwin got all his first podiums on flats. And that time Gee won on flats. Other than that, no one.
