I'm not sure if I'm reading into things more than I should, but is it weird that Laurie hasn't posted (or re-posted) anything about being off Syndicate? So far, no parting words or thanks or good luck to the team or anything.

2025 was an all time year. Some stand-outs: 1. RAAW Madonna - what a bike. Fast, composed, jumps fantastic and reliable. 2. Vorsprung Telum - expensive, but so good. I'm 260lbs and have been hitting bigger drops and jumps than ever and it's stayed calm and composed without asking questions. Having a custom tune from the start helps, but having...

Thanks for all the love Vital! My goal is to continue a career that allows me to contribute to another 1000 pages of the tech rumour thread.

That's good news. I picked up a whole pile of stuff when I happened in Les Gets just before the WC stop. Saved something like 40 euros on shipping to Canada. Ha ha

Long wheelbase setting. Zeb Ultimate, Vorsprung Telum coil. NSB cranks. Hope GR4 brakes. WAO dh rims laced to Profile Elite hubs. DH casing Conti tires. Beefy build and it's an XL frame. I haven't weighed it, but there's no way it's under 40lb. It's never going to be the quickest uphill, but at 260lb, neither am I. Lol.

I've got pretty much the same set up: 1. Madonna - built for strength, not weight, so it's a bit of a tank. Pedal's okay when I want to put some effort in, but I mostly shuttle and ride park. 2. Sirius - single speed, 130mm hardtail. Definitely a different kind of riding. 3. Transition PBJ - no substitute for...

with youtube you can use all kinds of good music these days without copyright strikes (just like insta reels or tiktok). the video won't get monetized but who cares when it amounts to like $87 for an action video under 30k views briole video and all commencal vids are 🔥

Blown away when the Method Man dropped. Like the actual visceral feeling you get when you see a rider you like with a proper run time video from a brand that does good work and the music is fire and the filming and editing is good and the track/zone is SICK... It's ALL coming together. Gave me the feeling I got as a kid popping in DVDs of the best skate/BMX videos. You KNEW it was going to be good. They couldn't afford for it to be bad. Despite saturation, kinda hard to get that feeling these days. The only...

I wonder if there will be more bikes like the Bottle Rocket? I'm not sure there are a ton of enduro racers on 170/180mm "enduro" bikes, but rather on 150/160mm "trail" bikes. Along those lines, I know some guys who are doing 20-30ft road gaps/jumps/etc on Spec Enduro's and don't seem them replacing them with Stumpy's anytime soon. I wonder...

Outlier Pendulums are definitely different and innovative. They may not be for everyone, but I love mine.

I'm going to preface this with "I absolutely zero interest in electronic shifting", but I think it's hard to argue against Shimano actually producing a wireless groupset being one of the biggest tech stories of the year. It might not be groundbreaking in the same way AXS was, but I appreciate SRAM doesn't have a monopoly on wireless anymore. I...

Also adding S and XL sizes. Other than the fact that I love my Madonna, not having an XL would have been one of the things keeping from getting a FW. Looks like it's back on the menu. Ha ha.

I drank my first Red Bull when I moved to Germany at 18 years old (it wasn't sold in Canada back then) and it might have been one of the most profoundly disappointing experiences of my life. Years of hype and sponsoring the coolest athletes and events, for it to taste like... carbonated medicine. lol

He's still listed as an athlete on the RB site (although his bio hasn't been updated in a minute. Still talk of cars and the Jon Olsson Invitational keeping him busy. Lol) The post above makes sense, where he is now a legacy athlete or "friend of RB". I'm guessing once upon a time, his contract was huge with them...
