2/5/2026 12:26pm I wasn't able to try them on before I got them, but am typically an 11. I think I ended up going with euro 44.5 or 45 (I forget). They were a touch roomy, so ended up just getting some different insoles with more volume and that seemed to do the trick.

2/5/2026 10:27am I'm not sure when it's going to be released, but Forbidden has something more xc/dc oriented in the pipeline. They're not exactly known for making "compact" bikes. Ha ha

2/5/2026 10:24am A few I've had over the years. I mostly just get something when they're on sale (and there are crazy good deals if you're patient/lucky). - 5.10 Freerider - grip was good. They were just a touch small, so got ride of them after a seaon - Etnies Camber Crank - fairly stiff and grip was pretty good on the...

2/4/2026 2:43pm Sam Hill landed nose-heavy. Aaron looked rightly-cautious of the size of the jumps. Literally said, "I've never jumped something this big before". So, yeah, some very well-experienced racers are having to adapt their mindset and conquer apprehension about the track. She's a pro racer. She got the invite, did the whole course, and came up short on the last jump. Yes, it sucks that she's injured now. But we've all seen men break themselves off racing at the top level. This isn't really different than that. What's weird is that you are questioning her credentials...or her right to be there...

2/4/2026 9:30am In the PB interview with Brage, it sounds like he's testing some prototypes, but could have something announced/released in the summer. He also talks about how he likes a more progressive/poppy bike, not something stuck to the ground so super interested in what they come up with!

2/2/2026 1:44pm If everyone stays healthy, I would put a lot of money on some variation of Jackson, Ronan and Asa on the podium. I'm not sure any of the women will touch Gracey and Lou, but hopefully all the ladies are able to clear the course and race this year.

2/1/2026 5:23pm I think he was referencing having electronic suspension (Rock Shox Flight Attendant) and how it switches up compression damping automatically. It's not any secret that wireless shifting and Flight Attendant is making its way to dh stuff.

2/1/2026 8:49am No downvoting from me. Everyone has different taste and there's nothing wrong with that! Brage - that's fair. I think he's the right balance between lots of prep, insane riding skill and willingness to send it. I think he's far more calculating than it looks like in his riding. I think Gee is kinda similar, but I legitimately think that...

1/31/2026 10:46pm Sure, but stature wise, when you're standing beside me in the parking lot between laps, I understand how all the English monks felt as the Norsemen jumped off the boats and rushed towards them. Also always impressed my Brage, and not just riding wise, but the way he approaches projects. He doesn't do things that don't suit him, he focuses on his passions and he doesn't really seem to care about what people thing, knowing what he does will speak as loud as it needs too. He's been the next gen Rough AF since Jordie passed and he carries the...

1/31/2026 5:56pm Obviously everyone has riders they watch and are interested in. Out of curiosity, who and what piques your interest? For me, the Norco revamp brought some fun into things. The portraits were ridiculous (and reminded me of the Royal Tennenbaums, which I love). Just... different. Regarding Brage, I'm about as opposite from a viking as you can get (full mennonite...

1/31/2026 4:35pm Norco had me when they revamped the Norco Race Division with finger painting portraits. Just so completely different than any other team on the circuit. Now Brage and (fingers super crossed) Tippie? Norco is killing it.

1/31/2026 7:32am With the little bend on the seat stay near the axle and the rear pivot location, it kinda looks like a Norco Sight?

1/28/2026 8:23pm I forget if anyone posted, but Tommy G has been riding a Canyon with SR Suntour suspension and officially announced he's on Pirelli tires today.

1/28/2026 8:05am Let's be honest here. Barring any accidents, the podium is going to be a variation of Jackson, Ronan and Asa.
