Coming from the PNW and never seeing running water on a long ride in SoCal has been a real adjustment, and it means I have to carry way more water on my person, or spend a lot of time looking at maps to figure out where all the stores and water fountains are, or both. I miss creeks. And shade. And overcast days. Don't ever leave. Stay there as long as you can, Cam. AS LONG AS YOU CAN.

3/19/2026 7:39am I wonder if he got to keep his WAO dh prototype bike? I know a couple people who would love to get their hands on one. Ha ha. The new TR11 looks pretty sick, though (just a stretched out version of the same design language across the rest of the line up).

3/10/2026 8:59am Rocky Mountain just posted "Big news dropping soon" with background pic of someone pulling a big one footed table in the desert. I'm not sure what it is (Slayer is overdue for an overhaul. Maybe an actual dh bike again?), but I'm always stoked for news coming from Rocky.

3/5/2026 8:13am In the interview with Brage when the Norco deal was first announced, he said something about riding a prototype that should be released sometime in summer. Obviously it makes sense that it would be some kind of freeride/dh bike.

Spoken like a boomer core lord. That’s what the viral forums seem to have become though. Dario is actually a breath of fresh air in mountain bike media, same as Jason. His perspective is a welcome change from the usual safe, generic industry takes the rest of the media recycles time and time again.
