They did it for the 36.. yikes... almost 10 years ago and it ripped. Felt way better in catch berms where you have quick direction changes with a lot of weight on the front.

I have a 20 year old 36 with a 20mm axle in the parts bin. From before someone dreamed up this 15mm foolishness.

This was my exact thought. A 40 is about 100 grams more and a Dorado about 300, not huge. I would think you also save a few grams on stem and shorter steer tube with a dual crown but that’s marginal. I do know some brands say their frames aren’t compatible with a dual crown fork. So if you have one of those frames this would make sense. Really hoping to see review comparing this fork, a Push, an Ohlins and through a dual crown fork in too just for fun.

Had no idea that Hope hubs were that easy to change axle sizes. May have to consider that in the future. Very nice bike btw.

Shout out to Vital for always posting the results with split times! Heart breaking for Antoine Pierron - 2nd at the last split. Also, incredible splits for Juanfer Velez before he crashed, he's so close to a huge result.

This bike is absolutely beautiful. I'm a DH guy. I never really got excited over Trail, XC or Enduro bikes. But this one strikes a cord with me. It's awesome.
