Finally! A proper electronic DH rear derailleur. I've been wondering when we'd be able to pay $1500 to ruin three derailleurs on the same rock in one race weekend. Can't come fast enough.

I had a 3 - 4 beer single speed build one night after work years ago. At this time I didn't have a stand so I turned it upside down to install the cranks, pedals, wheel, chain and chain tensioner in my garage. Satisfied with my chain tension I flipped it over and hopped on. It would only go backwards, I had installed the drive on the wrong side....

If you add a dab of grease to the bearing the bike will leave the shop silent only to shake loose at the optimal time for max annoyance. Don’t ask me how I know.

Some of you never rode when we had no clutches so the loose, flopping chain smashed against every part of your aluminum bike and the fork knocked in the 1 1/8th head tubes and then echoed through your monocoque frame and it shows. I can barely hear my current bike compared to the 3rd grade marching bands on wheels we used to ride pre-2012. I didn't even know you could hear what your tires were doing for the first 10 years I rode.

Million dollar idea: every frame comes with three headtubes welded in a neat row to the front of it. Users can play around with reach to their heart's content, then use an angle grinder to cut off whichever ones they don't end up using. Or save them all for resale value. Choose your own adventure.
