8/15/2024 3:16am 100% Agree. Imagine walking into your local bike shop wanting to update your aging mondraker enduro bike. - Hello, I'm looking for a new enduro bike. - Ah yes, take a look at this Foxy. - No, sorry I must not have been clear, I want an enduro bike, like 160mm of travel, not a trail bike. -Foxy it is! Oh well, we call it the superfoxy now and it is 170/160mm. -Oh ok, sorry I didn't keep up with the name changes, but can I still get a Dune? -Of course sir, right this way, 170/165mm hard hitter, beautiful...

8/1/2024 3:25am I dunno, maybe it's not a bad idea to stay off of forums where people discuss racing until you've watched the race. It's a strategy that's always worked for me.š

7/16/2024 7:08pm Thanks Sspomer, Has anyone noticed a real change recently from open mindedly discussing/presenting rumours and innovations, to endless posts about "opinions as facts" on the topics? Maybe its just me, but I felt like this thread used to be more open to ideas, and just seeing cool things, and I'd like a return to that. These new things arent for everyone, and not every product is meant to be the perfect fit for everyone, which is friggin great, we should want diversity in the marketplace, shouldnt we? I feel like we have strayed from that recently.....

4/22/2024 7:55am I have no doubt DH bikes could get a lot faster on tracks with no pedaling. Huge, thick tires, massive suspension, stubby cranks that are basically pegs, etc. But is that what we want? Would that be more fun? Would the higher speeds be worth it If things start going that route Iād be in favor of tight equipment rules mandating that DH bikes stay like ātraditionalā DH bikes. Allow innovation, but keep the spirit of the sport. Or just keep a pedally section on every track š

Riipper Added a reply to Should DH Bikes Have Water Bottle Mounts?
2/20/2024 9:10am As someone who basically only rides park (yeah bro) and has done so on bikes with and without water bottle cages, I appreciate not having to stuff a water bottle in the waist of my pants to stay hydrated. Bottle mounts all the way!
