Wyn Masters posted video of Samara Maxwell coming into the finisher's corral after taking the victory in XCO with the caption along the lines of "Come on UCI, let them celebrate." because the UCI officials very awkwardly start bustling around her, shepherding her and the other finishers elsewhere, making them pick up their bikes, etc.. etc.. when the team/family is trying to hug them at the finish line. I wish I had the video still, as it's pretty uncomfortable to watch.

My dirtjump frame was built in 1997 and besides the straight steer tube, it has almost the exact same geo and features as the current P3. of course, we called these things Slalolm bikes back in the day. ditch the slicks, add a front brake, and all of these bikes are instantly even more fun!!!

I think that's fair. After doing this test, I'm going to keep thrashing my 2018 Commencal Absolut. I will say that the best part about these bikes is you can go in on a DJ, and 5 years later it'll be just as fun and will have required minimal maintenance. I can't say the same about any mountain bike I've ever owned.

Euro is just what BMX people call a standard threaded BB. The PBJ has a standard 73mm threaded BB shell. How are you limited on crank options when virtually any MTB crank will fit?

Long post that was intended to be a short post but then I got to picking it apart and teasing it out further. Sorry! I'm not conviced "should" is a word in the UCI/WBD vocabulary. A quick reframing of the whole idea (that I don't necessarily agree with but I could see as being completely within the scope of how the UCI could be looking at it): Is Gwin any less retired than Minnaar? Who raced more last year and who seems to be more publicly active in DH right now? How about Richie Rude? RR used to ride downhill...

Who else thinks Greg won't make it all season without hoping on a bike for a race, even if just for giggles?

I already mentioned it a few pages back, but for the RB connection, you just need to look at Tarek Rasouli and his "sell me your soul and 50% of your paycheck and get on Canyon and Red Bull" business model (mostly). Almost all athletes are formerly or currently managed by him. He was at the launch too. It's all so half assed that it has to be some kind of scheme.

To any people who have some clout at Red Bull, Monster, Coca-Cola, any other big brand that could get hold of Enduro. Please can we have a video series like the one they have for AMA Arenacross (*link below) for World Enduro. Possibly 20 mins long with all the major happenings and drama from that race with a couple of interviews from the main players thrown in......you know, like they USED to have!! *I've link episode one of the first series so you can watch them all in order. They're awesome!!
