Why would you want your steering elements to be moist? I think the word you're looking for is "damping".

Of course they don’t reduce transmission, even the CDC has admitted that. Look how fast Omicron spread around world via vaccinated travellers. Reduce mortality? What evidence is there for that? And in what age group? Pfizer’s own trial of 42,000 showed barely any absolute reduction in mortality. There may slight evidence that they do in the in the elderly, if they’re healthy enough to get to the antibody stage. Omicron has about a 0.2-0.3% case fatality rate, very similar to influenza. If we wanted to protect the elderly etc we would have vaccinated them only and allowed the virus to...

@derelict true, but having a spec fork and a spec shock (or a spec tyre) won't do much for the speed problem. And while spec components in motorsports do tend to have an effect on speed, they achieve this mostly as an aftereffect - the main reason for spec components is to lower the price of admission. Or to outlaw certain things. FIA tried to police traction control in F1, then just simply gave up in 2001. By mid 00s, everybody ran traction control, automatic shifting (at perfect RPM points). Traction control was banned again in 2008, then the spec...

What do you mean by "deep threading"? We currently support something like 4-5 levels of replying to replies. And out of curiosity, what would be the order of importance for you of those items you listed? From must-have to would-be-nice.

In mountain biking, organizers think small and refuse to seek high level talent and pay high level compensation. Want a legitamite prize purse? Hire a marketing company that handles high end fundraising & sponsorship opportunities but name your money pool per event before you do. If you're the organizer of these events, it's you who decides how much they get paid. Using the "excuse" that you can't raise enough funds but that the show must go on means you are not the one for the job and need mentors, help, education, connections, etc before you proceed. It's obvious that the...

Kade is dating Tahnee and is riding buddies with kaos. They’ve filmed a lot of stuff before. Could be a “day in the life” style video or behind the scenes of the FMD team.

Hmmm, fundamentally, I disagree with all of your comments here. Road bikes, in reality, haven't really changed in the last decade or two. Alongside that, the interest and engagement with the top triathletes is *not as high* across social media as the really top downhill riders. So, let's pick apart what you've said. 1) "It's almost unlimited what they can design" > Incorrect. They're pretty much bound by UCI rules, which have a minimum weight limit for starts. https://www.triathlon.org/uploads/docs/itusport_competition-rules_2017… 2) The WRC is the highest level of production car racing in the world. Toyota have just built a car SPECIFICALLY...

1. tons of people used remote lockouts in Pietermaritzburg and in Canberra. Some people in both cases even went so far to run effectively enduro bikes (single crown fork of Fabien Barel in Canberra, prototype of what was to be the Spartan for Stevie in Pietermaritzburg). 2. use the technology that is available to you. Theoretically this is available to everybody. It's the sponsors and/or the riders problem, if these things do not get used. And it's not like lockouts are something that nobody has seen. And even if they were, so what? Somebody figured out something new. And it's...

Cheating is maybe the wrong term, anyone could have used a rear lockout like many did in Cairns and he manually adjusted his front fork compression with his hand... Unless being smart is considered cheating?
