Agreed. Richie is plenty fast on his own and we tend to associate him with Yeti and vice-versa. Not to mention Yeti has had good success in sponsoring lesser known (ie cheaper) athletes. Not just that, but between Richie and Hannah, they've got high-level pros to lean on for product development. While I think it'd be awesome if Gwin ended up on a Frameworks or some similarly small brand, I just don't think he's at that point yet. How much money do you guys think Yeti has? I'm guessing they're doing everything they can to continue paying Richie's salary and bonuses. My bet for Gwin is he'll go to a brand looking for product development on their frame as that's what he's done for the majority of his career (and is also part of why his deals have been so lucrative).

Um, have you not been paying attention? Yeti built a new DH bike for Richie last year because he said he wanted to do some DH racing. Like a fully finished carbon DH bike ready for production.
