Hello Vital MTB Visitor,
We’re conducting a survey and would appreciate your input. Your answers will help Vital and the MTB industry better understand what riders like you want. Survey results will be used to recognize top brands. Make your voice heard!
Five lucky people will be selected at random to win a Vital MTB t-shirt.
Thanks in advance,
The Vital MTB Crew
Now we know Minnaar is on Norco, whats the bets he's going to be on Rockshox suspension ? A change is as good as a holiday
He’s already stated he tested both, and is sticking with fox.
You clearly did not listen to the interview. It's Fox.
🤦🏼😂
Gwin back to Yeti, I'm calling it. Him and Richie back together would be great to see again, bring on the Two Turquoise Terminators
if you post shit like this, at least LISTEN TO THE FUCKING VIDEO you are quoting before?
Yeti doesn’t have a DH bike, and they’d need to build one in a few months time. Not impossible.
who’s got Gwin level money and no top talent?
Trek is without a team.
Santa Cruz is in the market for an old racer.
They would have tyler waite from nz joining them on the team, hes on yeti now, not officially confirmed but he has been riding the new dh bike so that kinda confirms it (first year junior this year)
Um, have you not been paying attention?
Yeti built a new DH bike for Richie last year because he said he wanted to do some DH racing. Like a fully finished carbon DH bike ready for production.
Gotta be Zerode?
perhaps thats the bike he was openly testing in the magic mountain in France...
Bex Baraona confirms she is setting up her own program. She has been testing a bikes (Nukeproof and possibly Canyon).

Giant Factory Offroad Team announcement, no surprises here but good to see the continued commitment to building on the good results obtained already: https://www.vitalmtb.com/news/press-release/giant-factory-road-team-ann…
This confirms a rumour I heard that due to budget cuts Joe and Lou will only be running intense front triangles. Lou will be carrying over half of her nukeproof contract and Joe is launching his new video series “The Swingarm Project”
Would be fitting being a Kiwi brand.
But imagine Gwin to Yeti with Blenki as well, that would be some real nostalgic full circle shit...
Hopefully she was able to negotiate the salary she was looking for from herself.
Sorry everyone but this bike is just so damn sexy. I don't even ride a Yeti. I'm on a full aluminum, externally routed, sensible and inexpensive bike by choice. But this Yeti DH rig tickles me in the right places!
It would be super cool to see Gwin on Yeti.
I think Jeff is still welding them. He'll have the rear triangles done roughly 2 days before the first race and air mail them out.
Gwin to Southern Gravity Racing along with a couple of juniors and a up and rising elite men's rider.
Heard it straight from one of Sean's pigs in exchange for some kitchen scraps.
Vezina goes for Coach role instead pilot.
McKay Vezina “retired“ but is the Giant teams new high performance coach for the gravity riders.
When is the date this year that all the team lists get published by the UCI and all this fun ends?
Last year was Feb 1.
Last season it was released Feb 1. That arbitrary though has it does say in the application form when they will release the team list. Some brands got caught out and didn’t officially launch their team until after Feb 1
It's some weird sarcasm I doubt anyone understands...
Cube Actionteam updates (this is Cube's enduro team, not to be confused with the DH side, Cube Factory Racing...):
--------------------------------------------------------
CUBE Actionteam – New riders for 2024
The CUBE Actionteam signs Swedish rider Zakarias Johansen and Germany’s Frederik Matz for the coming season.
New father Johansen is back in the Actionteam jersey after two years away. 19-year-old Frederik Matz is set to step up to pro level with the support of the team. They both join Austrian Jonas Goeweil and Swissman Gusti Wildhaber to round out the Actionteam squad for 2024. All four will be competing at the UCI Enduro World Cup Series. Supporting talented young enduro riders on the development path remains a key focus with the CUBE Actionrookie programme as well as media adventure trips both for and with joint partners.
“I’m stoked to be back with the CUBE Actionteam! CUBE are a brand who are incredibly passionate about racing and are always pushing the limits as far as possible. For me, that is exactly what you need to race at this level. Becoming a dad last year completely changed my life. It showed me how important it is to have people around you who you vibe with and trust, and who support you to keep racing at the highest level. Claus, Gusti and I go way back and I can't wait to see what we can accomplish as a team!” says the 31-year-old Swede.
“I’m so happy that Zakarias is back on the team. We were already blown away by his incredible performance during his first stint with us. Today he is one of the best enduro athletes in the world and we are delighted to have him back on board. You will see us at all of the 2024 Enduro World Cups with Zakarias as our principal rider, where we aim to achieve as many top results as possible. Welcome back to the CUBE family, Zakarias!” says team manager Claus Wachsmann.
All four riders will head out to their first training camp together in February to prepare for the race season. After getting into the race action with some early-season competitions, the Actionteam athletes will turn their attention to the UCI Enduro World Cup Series.

UCI Enduro World Cup Calendar:
10–12 May: Finale Ligure, Italy
17–19 May: Bielsko-Biala, Poland
7–9 June: Leogang, Austria
28 June–7 July: Haute Savoie, France
12–14 July: Aletsch, Switzerland
6–8 September: Loudenville, France
How much money do you guys think Yeti has? I'm guessing they're doing everything they can to continue paying Richie's salary and bonuses. My bet for Gwin is he'll go to a brand looking for product development on their frame as that's what he's done for the majority of his career (and is also part of why his deals have been so lucrative).
Anyone thrown Windrock Racing out there for Gwin? Like Pinkbike Racing but you know, Windrock.
