Oobviously the most talented & fastest racer since Gwin. No question. But Kovarik did what no one has or will do again. He was on a 2 season tear that only rear wheels exploding could stop. Forgive me if third hand shuttle info is inaccurate, but in the past few years, Dak's mechanic & he were doing the lions share of shock study/tuning/tear down/rebuild in house & in conjunction w/ Intense home office. They kept most all of their tinkering between them so Jordi wasn't as involved. It's that way with several teams. with Fox acting as parts/information support when needed. I took Jordi's quip toward Dak as taking a different path to get to the feel he wanted and that's b/c of his unique body position.

I've watched this three times now and it absolutely blows my mind how he is that controlled and precise with the speed and pace he carrying. Absolute masterclass.

Sure, bike setup and technique can help relieve marginal symptoms, but it sounds like for most of us here keyboard warriors, the problem is not that much what you do on the bike but off the bike, we spend considerably more time sitting at a desk than on a bike. Riding might just reveal that you are compressing the nerve in your wrist elbow, shoulder, or neck all day long.. You can maybe try better ergonomics at your workstation, different mouse, and seat position and just taking regular breaks. Physical Therapy might help release the pressure. I trashed my hands...

Wokeness. Bike companies railroad riders & racers all day, every day. You could be the easiest to work with, but the bike company is going to shaft you at some point. No way around it. When they want out, they do that passive aggressive post about "Positive Vibes Past. Positive Vibes Moving Forward. Wish "x" well." Zink & me probably wouldn't be able to stand each other long but I LOVE that guy. He got the heck out of Cali, loves his family, doesn't take crap, gets rowdy & stupid as needed & knows how to calculate risk vs reward...

I hauled a 30lb chainsaw on my shoulder for 3 years and hiked with a 40lb pack as a hotshot firefighter for 14 years. Used to be a competitive rower…the shoulders are the hard dog to deal with…advice for arm pump: go to the gym and use some yard tools. Dig a giant hole and fill it back it. Your settings and bar roll won’t matter after that homies.
