From my point of view: 150Nm is going to wreck drivetrains and 1000W is going to empty batteries at a ridiculous rate. I'm most likely upgrading to Avinox next month, but mostly with the expectation to have a much lighter system (new 700Wh battery, effectively confirmed) or much higher range (940wh battery, no leaks but feasible). I'll mostly ride in a setting similar to Bosch's EMTB+ (100Nm, 750w). If the price I've heard for the new amflow's is correct, I might just keep my bosch bike around...

I need an easily removable battery to take weight off the bike to go on my Car Rack - As long as its not out the side, the bigger downtubes dont bother me aslong as the design into motor is smooth and not like the old giant/yamaha that look...

3/29/2026 1:02pm yep, never ending issues I've had with their forks and the Fox place here is trash that had bad attitude people working there(arrogant) I believe they've been bought by anther group and moved so hopefully its much better I've had maybe 1 good fork from OEM bikes, even the 2 new 36's i bought in the last 5 years So...

yeah we all know its a mainstream product that may be 50% of the pros use..and all brands have lemons, eventually.. but come on.. the premium price tag should come with more certainty of reliability.. i stay away from fox.. still ahve old couple of 2018/2020 fox 36s that my still light kids can punish without issues..no more new fox unless its free in my house. the allure of kashima.. get past it..

3/28/2026 12:40pm Curious question, I love my bosch gen 5 at 85nm in all modes except turbo set at +5 assist, 100nm and 750w for the steeeeeeeep stuff(which I have very little of around here) What really matters TO YOU? NM or Watts? Would you take 150NM at 500watts? Or 75nm at 1000watts?

I've converted to 200mm HS2 rotors for all my remaining Shimano brakes for performance benefits, but now I have a thousand 203mm mounts that I'm gonna have to either donate or shave 1.5mm off with the dremel....except I can't use them for Mavens because the caliper/pad touches Would've been nice to never have 203/223mm in the first place 🙄
