As we were browsing through the EWS Race Book for the first event of the year in Val di Fassa, Italy, we stumbled across the Prize Purse section. Now, this isn't going to be news to anybody who follows mountain bike racing, but we still want to bring up this discussion again - a total prize purse of 4600 EUROS for one whole race? (the same separate purse is offered for each race of this two-race event - 2 total purses of 4600 EUROS to be clear).

just browsing the pivot website, looking through their suspension guide I think they let the cat out of the bag for the firebird 29 rear shock. Current model is 230x65 standard eyelet, Seems the new one is 205x65 trunnion which by rights means a 29 inch Mach 6 lookalike I presume.

Yeah, I heard horror stories about BOS servicing too. But honestly, if you don't have 2 left arms and have a half decent garage, enabling you to service your own suspension, what brand to get? Intend? FOX is notorious for a clusterfuck of servicing tools (expensive tools that change from generation to generation), RS is fairly OK, but has been dropping the ball parts wise - I have a C1 RC2 Lyrik, that looks to be a complete unwanted child (it's a bit of a mix and match of parts, not quite an Ultimate, but very much like it), shimstack...

@lickmycrinkle This dude is a joke on the forums in our local community, now he just takes all the embarrassment to an international level.
