Chainring price: 189,95 € | $207.17 USD Spider price: from 119, 95 € to 139,95 € | $130.82 to $152.64 USD So hold up. For more than twice the price of that Ti chainring 5dev just came out with you can have a heavier steel one? I was kinda interested just for my non E-mtb before i saw the price lol. This thing would have to last like 10 years of frequent riding to be remotely worth the price

Race face has a steel chainring for $20 ya'll. I have one on my trail bike and its held shape with pretty much no wear for a couple years.

Hey, thought I’d clear up the fair question you asked here! I’m not into racing enduro anymore or heavily focusing on being competitive and haven’t been for a couple years now. I’ve been racing since I was 11 years old and I got tired of it. I’m enjoying competing now and then In different events but focusing on travelling to cool locations and filming & riding with new people and friends and sharing my experiences and working alongside my sponsors. Change has been good and I’ve found my feet doing this. Cheers Lew

I thought Shimano had a patent on clutches that constantly require service. Still if Fox puts the X2 design team on this they might be able to find a work around.

This does not look like a prototype anymore, far from it. The attention to detail is pretty high. I'm not sure they'd go to that level if this is just another proto aluminum mule to test before committing to a carbon mold. I could be wrong but to me it looks like it might be a early/pre production run to verify before mass production. The idea of a competitive and good looking Intense Al dh bike makes me feel all warm and nostalgically fuzzy inside.

@sspomer my first thoughts when I saw the WC schedule were definitely related to pre-season #USDH hopefully getting a bump in elite rider participation for pre-season shakedowns Downhill Southeast should be popping with top level talent this year with rounds in March, April, and May on the calendar. And the Tennessee National at Windrock is moving to a full week+ spanning two weekends (Mar 17-26 from what I've heard) so that event should be blowing up as well as it's the next week after the DHSE opener at the Trials Training Center in TN. First DH race not until June 9 means tons of #USDH fun! (i hope : ) - also no whistler at all. it was "TBD" on early versions of this. 6-7 week break between val di sole and andorra in july/august is LONG. crankworx whistler slots in july 21-30
