I think it will be a very interesting off-season. Many riders who were unlucky this season will probably stay on the track. The new UCI rules are not good for the majority of riders, especially since there is no feeder series. I assume that riders ranked below 22nd will have a very difficult time. Results were pretty damn good before he crashed a bit 2 race ago. He was 6 or 7 in the overall. With an almost no-budged-team. He has also learned not to overcook the runs like 3 years ago or so.

The Avinox is clearly a nice unit, but I view the Bosch as much quieter (only motor that disconnects when freewheeling), free-er pedaling when power is off, has built in bash ring protection where-as the DJI motors need the 245 gram E13 bash ring, has better weight distribution, more service options and importantly more efficient. Trek pretty much started new this season so I would imagine they are all on 2 year contracts minimum. Not sure of Hauser’s situation as recall he wasn’t on the full Trek program at the start of the year. But since we are throwing out scenarios. Just listened to the latest OTB . They have osin to Trek and apparently Trek wanted him to sign in the mid season transfer window but YT wouldn't release him which is pretty rubbish considering they can't or aren't paying him . Makes his own kit purchase protest pretty justified I reckon.

I'm pointing it out not because a brand ought to go with VPP or Crab Link for their ebike, but because the 'Cruz explained in their podcast that VPP didn't fly with the new bosch motor, and yet - here's another brand launching a VPP ebike after the Vala (although admittedly I can't see what motor Intense is using in the photo). Besides, I vastly prefer the "PON only released the Vala as four bar to capitalize on the R&D of the close-to-launch GT ebike" conspiracy theory anyway.

Yeah if you can’t honor your contracts you probably should be banned for a period of time. Nobody but yt is to blame for all of their problems. I tend to doubt Marcus will be in the position to relaunch the mob anytime soon anyways. But any league should try to get rid of sponsors who have proven to both been financially irresponsible and act in bad faith towards their riders.
