How bout' this -Inverted (clearly) -39mm lowers -147-176mm travel adjustable in 7mm increments, done internally, can only be done at Push's shop -CNC'd CSU, that are bonded to the upper tubes using loads of good intentions -HSC, 47 clicks -LSC 3 clicks -HSR, 9.7 clicks -LSR only adjustable internally, requires several model specific tools, like a 10mm socket (you know yours is mssing) easier to send to Push -Axle made of unobtainium, with a special 7 sided octagonal design said to increase torsional stiffness by 36.89% over previous model, with proprietary axle sizing, to fit readily available 120mm...

I like ric and Cedric. But they are not good live commentators. Have ric do his scripted bits in the broadcast and Cedric replace miss Can’t be bothered to learn the racer names doing interviews. Give someone else a shot at the commentating because the the only improvement made was Aaron and they shouldn’t be relying on injured riders for decent commentary they ultimately talk over way too often.

It wouldn't be so bad if it was only Cedric doing it. Ric has also joined the party, I noticed him saying it on a couple of occasions at MSA, along with "he's in touch" when the rider was green.

Well you can still have part of what you want. Just buy the Misspent Summers Hurly Burly year book for the old school in-depth reportage, geek facts, photography, BTS and storylines each year. More pages and less ads than Dirt too.

I fix Peter Sagan's MTB when he's in Utah - very nice chap. He had a Discovery film crew with him this summer, filming for a documentary about the 2024 Paris Olympics. Sagan name dropped Minnaar to me on camera. He said that Gregg told him "harder was faster". So we pumped his fork up to the max. (#Namedropinception).

Glad you liked the bike! I was the lucky mekanik to build that very bike earlier this summer while working at Commencal! Glad my stack height and general setup were pretty close to yours! Wish I had gotten to take it out for a ride before boxing it up, that was the first production large frame we received so I couldn't really get a feel for the bike before heading back to school.

Ive sat next to Matt Jones on the bikepark Wales uplift bus. Also on another occasion with Rich Payne of GMBN. I'm expecting an invite to the dirtshed show anyday now.

rludes is effectively correct, most XL bike reviews are pointless, even for their tall rider demographic. Long reach (xl) bikes built around a medium 'too short' of chainstays and a head tube that's too squat, requiring anything more than 10mm of steer tube spacers (diminishes reach #'s further), which will likely end up being 15-20mm+ worth. Bad all around for tall guys. What matter is a +15-25mm on your reach # to the (sagged) chainstay length. Unless your favorite mtb brand doesn't have size specific chainstays for s-m, l-xl and xxl, then the bike is optimized around a pretty particular...

Really nice hearing the judges thought process and what gets emphasized. suppose we all see it differently, can’t disagree bearclaw knows better than me. What I like is creativity in lines, which Bienve and Brendog had in spades. I loved how Bienve used the most of the mountain, as opposed to just high risk fall line down it. I think if Rampage is going to be sustainable and not just a high risk huckfest that results in a riders death/permanent injury, creative use of the mountain should be prioritized.
