I pedal, but usually as a means to access descents, and I'm typically on 140mm+ bikes. Showing up at an XC press camp with flat pedals and a trail helmet was pretty comical. Really wish we could go to permanent # plates in DH. Let's you put a big # on your jersey & gets WAY easier for us to ID riders coming by when # plate, sleeves & back all have your consistent #.

I dont know anything about Dak, but Ryan has gotten his fastest times ever on the bike on runs he knows very well and can make good comparisons. Mondraker is keen to make the bike fast and and is making that a priority. So I think whomever is on the bike will do well.

I was similar in not wanting him on a Mondraker. I’ve made peace with it now, though. Sick team for the year, and I hope the bike is equally sick and capable.

1/18/2024 8:23am Will be interesting to see how things go when these guys swap bikes. Trummer and Tahuto didn’t seem to have their best years on that mondraker, and brook didn’t like it. Mondraker has some heavy hitters now, will be interesting to see what they do on it.

I appreciate the hope you all have for frameworks but I think a lot of you are holding it up to be the next syndicate-esque mega team or something. This is literally a passion project that Neko started very recently. He’s accomplished a lot but let’s not start assuming every big name is headed there.
