The switch is hidden in the migration path of the bottom pivot on the center (vertical) link. See that migration path 60 in the center? That's the reversing migration path (Switch). Also note the rearward axle path with tangency line 74. https://wheelbased.com/2021/06/11/vehicle-suspension-linkage-e-bike-gearbox-by-yeti/

I know a guy using that system and he tested it, there is not a single bit of wear change on chains because chain turns without any load in the system

It is some sort of weatherproof electrical connection. A lot of stuff going on with this shock besides just the plug.

I think that was him just giving him shit. Kind of like the quip about Bruni not being strong enough to hold on when he did.

It makes sense for gravity racing i.e. short sprints. But any sustained efforts and a gearbox is basically the worst possible thing you can have. The drag those things produce is exponentially more than that of a normal chain and cog. with the current manufacturing tolerances to produce a gearbox that can match the efficiency of a chain driven dsetup would cost 5 figures.

literally Added a comment about product review D 232 ONE

it's not just too much travel it's that travel should be based on the terrain, not the category of riding people think they do. where I live it's super rocky and technical but not particularly steep, yet everyone thinks they need 200mm of drop to deal with it.

charliem Liked a comment about product review Is 60mm of Drop Enough for XC? DT Swiss D232 ONE Review

I like seeing a dropper with this amount of travel and wish there were more options at 60mm. I have been of the minority opinion that dropper posts have to much travel and I still don’t own a dropper post. I feel as if the feel (geometry) of the bike changes with the seat slammed down. I prefer seat up high for balance, similar to using the seat for balance when riding moto.

Butch. Come on dude. Where did I say anything about Roots and Rain not being a great site. You’re reaching. We’re talking about the fact that Gwins not on the national team. And you posted head to head data against all the other guys on the team to show that Gwin has better racing stats than them. Therefore qualifying him over them. We get that. The problem is, what’s the solution? Does one of the “inferior” guys give up their spot for them? Or does Gwin say, well shit, I F’d up. No spot for me. It’s not a great...

Well no shit he’s got a good résumé on roots and rain. What’s the solution then? Kick off one of the guys that went through the proper channels, been selected and are probably pretty damn excited for the opportunity? i’m not saying he doesn’t deserve to be on the team, but he definitely dropped the ball. He’s the team owner/manager. He hast to know this shit. He’s got himself in quite a sticky situation.
