Can you shitbirds keep your worthless political opinions out of this thread and keep the conversation based around who we can confirm will be competing at the first World Cup? The UCI isn’t the French government so it’s not (yet) a problem of the sport or its governing body. Try to focus and go troll your uneducated (unless you’re an epidemiologist) dreck somewhere else.

Unlike dictator Griz who has been watching too much CNN, I feel any aspect of a racer's medical health aught to be made by the racer. I also think it's absolutely ridiculous to mandate such medical requirements when it's neither been proven safe or effective. I'm seeing way too many first hand complications (specifically heart related issues) from young and healthy individuals that statistically would have been fine had they acquired their immunity naturally by contracting COVID. We've turned this into a much larger mess than it needed to be. If you want the vaccine, get the vaccine. If you...

Yeah I’m pretty pro vax but if I’m relying on my body to make a living I’m definitely gonna wait until some long term data comes in. The guys were talking about mostly are the peak of whatever class they are competing in. Generally devoting their entire life and forgoing education to make it big. I can’t blame them for not wanting a shot that hasn’t been around a very long time.

Yea seems Griz thinks all the top world cup racers are vaxxed. Haha. Would be shocked if it was over 50% if you're including XC and DH.

You must not realize that professional athletes, though a very small portion of the population, are on average likely the least vaccinated demographic you can find.

French folks. History is ripe with so many French failures and tactics. Come at me with ChonaFlu shot, mine is 9mm of prevention..shot for shot. Shame the US had to change the definition of "vaccine" for their deboggle and lies. Lets go Brandon!

You guys need to get some taller testers :-) Short head tubes/low stack height are the bane of my life - the banshee sounds perfect for 6' and over riders who would otherwise be battling with too low bar height...

That's actually where I least like mine. They can be a bit of a pig on relatively flat stuff... Coming from moto, going down they're awesome. Stable and still flickable, it's just what you're used to riding... Obviously going up they're great. I never get the hate, isn't it about having fun? Well, they're literally, more riding, more ups, more down, more fun!

Apparently everyone forgot to tell these two nobodies that ebikes are only for losers and old fat guys. Haha Seriously though, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Percent of people who hate ebikes before they try one: ~100% Percent of people who hate ebikes after they try one: ~0%

I actually love my turbo Levo. I primary ride my Enduro bike, but I love getting to do all day rides in Tahoe that would just kill me on a regular bike. Frankly I’m faster DH on my trail and enduro bikes, but uphill turbos are awesome. Once they make a 30lb emtb I don’t know why I would ever go back.

That's not what he's advocating them for though - he says recovery days, in other words days when you want to stay in i1/i2, which an ebike is perfect for, having more freedom where you can ride on days when you need to restrict your HR. Where I live, it's all up or down, so in the past it was go hard or stay home and rest, where with an ebike I can have those intermediate days, keeping it easy but still getting to go up into the mountains and come back down on the fun trails. Julian Absalon is...

Usac also totally miffed the olympics with woodruff just this season. Seems like a bunch of amateurs. I still don’t get the gwin haters. Y’all need to find something better to do with your time then hate on the guy who brought America back competitive on the world stage and is just a generally nice dude with good values. He belongs at world champs, he’s one of a few who can podium and the only one with a win at the world stage. Unsure if he’ll be on it this time but I have little doubts there are more podiums...

Point to my "attack". And I don't need to defend "Gwin" You can replace every one of the US riders names with a symbol. The results still make the riders to select easy. In terms of rider value "Gwin"...just like rider value "Hill", rider value "Peat" and rider value "Minnar"...their talent, ability & greatness take a LONG time to vanish. All of the above rider values won multiple World Cups 2 years after their last Overall. I'm a fan of Winners.

Wow....so much hate. Literally shallow, petty and spiteful hatred in these posts @Bensmith101 do tell what your qualifications for calling people liars is. Being a hateful person with a bitter pill in your gut is pitiful. Here's the flat out truth. No one in the US is better than Gwin. They want to beat him. Sometimes they have. Most times they won't. But I hope they keep pushing to beat him because of the rising tide raising all ships. USAC has 2 goals. 1 is to WIN Worlds. So Gwin, Dak, Luca & Chuck are the Alpha Dogs. They go...

It is a stupid discussion. Kick someone out of the team, put Gwin in. That is the solution. It is not Gwin who is to blame but the uninterested non professional guys at USAC

You're a prick. He's not greedy you self righteous nitwit. He got his value on the market when he could based off what he rightfully produced on course and off at the time. He and most others are going to starve next season and probably a few to come because of all this Covid crap. Thanks to being smart and not letting the dangerous physical risks he takes to promote their brands go uncompensated should he get a devastating injury...he may have income left to live on after his career is over. Amazing what stupidity, ignorance or flat out poverty...

USAC is such a poor fit for MTB, especially for gravity-based MTB. Evidently the young DH hooligans were heckling USAC officials at Winter Park this year. Though I don't condone disrespect, I can see where they're coming from. The USAC officials looked like a bunch of bird watchers and the types of people who probably lobby their city council to tear down dirt jumps.
