The sticker on the inner chainstay is hard to make it out but kind of looks like Orion, which is Esker Cycles and they work with Weagle as well. Could be them.

Honestly I like the feel of electronic shifting, but the cost is insanely high. For the same money you could buy a really good rear wheel, which at least in my opinion would have a much bigger impact on the overall riding experience.

This is all shaping up perfectly for Neko/Asa. As you're alluding to, Neko has said he tries to keep it light and not put pressure on Asa--BUT he mentioned that many times in the same conversation as Asa being a JUNIOR. He's not a junior anymore. Neko knows that for him to go to the next level and consistently be there for wins, he needs mature--mentally and physically. Gwin is the perfect guy to do that. Moving to elites will be harder mentally for Asa than physically. And Gwin was/is a mental assassin and will likely bring some of that...

As someone who was there from the very beginning (okay EWS #2), I think the story arc of EWS/EDR is a bit more complex that people think, and that Chis Ball is not the boogie man some make him out to be.
