10/24/2025 6:17am i don't recall an air damper, but that was around the time i just started getting into mtb. i do remember reading about their smart shock, which IIRC was some kind of electronic controlled damping.

@jeff.brines for the next podcast or discussion here (unless I'm forgetting and its been covered before)... So the big guys (Specialized, Trek) went vertical a few years back and bought a lot of retail shops. They moved out most of the competitor inventory so customers are limited to in-house P&A brands or heading to another shop. How has that worked out for all involved?

Great to hear! The new back end is actually being tested this week by new team riders in a secret location...This picture was taken last week at the Belgian Cycling Factory, this is Dale McMullen (Nukeproof Lead Engineer) and Steve Jamison (Nukeproof Product Manager) discussing the new back end with a new rider (you can just see his foot)!

The twins splitting is something I've actually heard before. Surprising but if the offers are there, then why not eh? On another note, here are some photos of a few of the "park" features on the Korea track. Frank Pardal says he'll be doing a track preview Wednesday!

I thought it was very brave of Ebruner to be vulnerable and share how many bikes he and his wife have. It can be tough to come clean. We’re all active or recovering bikes addicts here, and this is supposed to be a supportive community for recovery. Or enabling rationalizations and fostering codependency, if that’s what you’re looking for. Both, really. JUDGEMENT FREE SPACE

10/20/2025 2:40pm the DT's I have can be converted, but yes I am not surprised they have other models that can't. my point was that Hope isn't the only company that offers hubs that can switch between 15 and 20mm.
