Especially with it down to two guys, there just seems to be less if that magic out of the Syndicate pits lately. It definitely needs to be three or more riders.

I was a track marshal on this exact section for the 2019 DH WC race and in qualifying, when it rained I had to witness many people crash, broken wrists, clavicles and so on. I’m glad they reworked it for this years Champs because it really sucked to see so many guys go down. To have a technical track is one thing but to have a dangerous one is another one and the line is very thin.

Here's a follow-up from yesterday's Ohlins article. This is about the same shock but they're also developing an external air volume adjustment system that pushes a piston into the damping chamber, which expands a flexible bladder to adjust the air volume. I've actually been thinking of dropping some subtle bullshit in my articles to see if I can catch someone slippin. I think I'll start doing it for the bounty. Would be super easy to catch someone since no one actually reads the documents themselves as a check, they'll just summarize mine. I hope people read this. You better take the time to read the document before you lift my shit.

It's my own 3D printed prototype frame. It's a dual link gearbox bike. It's currently got an incomplete rear triangle to make mounting the belt easier. If you remember I surveyed you guys about making a frame awhile ago and some of you wanted updates. I'll send some more photos when I start making the CNC'd version.

I always ride with a protractor, a level and a folding meter-stick so when I see proto bikes on the trail i can run up and measure the seat angle. Makes it easier to go complain in the pinkbike comments before everyone else does.

Some of my favorite "trails" are old unsustainable eroded logging roads and jeep trails. Nothing funner than hitting warp speed straight down the fall line, although I think Jack's "warp speed" is a little speedier and warp-ier than mine. Sick riding.

Scotland is the most cautious in their approach to the pandemic in terms of the four nations, its not surprising they are still cautious about this! You also have to understand that the hospitals in the highlands are small and serve a huge area. You can't have a massive influx of people and expect their hospitals to cope with both injuries from the WC as well as the increase number of infections. Vaccine rollout is all well and good, but there are still many unknowns about the effectiveness of vaccine cover from mutated forms of the virus, especially from athletes/spectators...
