@luisgutrod I stumbled over your backlink, so I thought I'd provide direct insights. We reached out to Intend/Cornelius if he would be open to publishing a review. We got the Flash38 for a different (upcoming) project. They did not want the (free) review on top of what other project we offered. It's not, but I'd happily be tester #2 if @ jonathanheierle is feeling extra generous. I respect the hell out of Cornelius for not supplying free forks to media outlets, because it's his business and he can do whatever he wants. But on the other hand, it puts media outlets in a bind because damn we can't be dropping $2000 on a review item. I think it's super cool that @jonathanheierle is stepping up to be the middle man and make a test like that happen, out of his own pocket!

I also have the flash 38 but it’s being tested by a media company right now so I have a loaner zeb. Intend doesn’t care to send media samples for testing so I loaned my own for testing.

Silly stuff I know, but it comes from French "motocyclette" using the same Latin. If it hadn't been derived from another language it would make much more sense to be "Engine Cycle" or something.

It doesn't seem that low. New Spur has 39mm drop in high and 47 in low. Epic 8 evo also has it around 40 in low. Maybe they also spec 165mm cranks because they are focused on the downhill vs just being a quick climbing xc bike. At least for this bike, probably want to keep the bike light, so no adjustable chainstay.

Oh man oh man I want to see the weight on that reya. 450mm CS on a truly light bike would be insanely advantageous for tech climbing and huge backcountry missions. That said, quite bummed they chose to make the BB so low. Really should not be a thing on a bike in this class meant to shine on climbs. Gonna be offsetting some of the benefit of the long chain stays on tech climbs. Sad.

Nice gesture by WBD, but not sure it'll do any actual good. I personally think the both genders have pretty tight racing so both are very much worth watching, and the ordering of them doesn't factor into my decision of watching either.

I’m being sarcastic because most the women in my family would find a documentary featuring athletes discussing “menstruation and body image” more insulting than inspiring. It’s a sarcastic comment that didn’t come across well at all in text. I get for as many women in the “don’t define me by my gender” camp there are plenty in the celebrate my gender and body camp. And again I’m pretty hopeful they’ll actually do a good job with it and it will not be patronizing. i apologize my comment came across so poorly.
