Here's a better picture. I downloaded this in September and I have no idea where I got it. I made a whole post about it yesterday but I deleted it because my speculation was based upon the rocker looking like the Wild. This is likely an aluminium mule.

It looks like the IP address your VPN is using has blacklisted by our filters. VPNs are often used for abuse, so this can happen. Perhaps you can change your VPN settings to a different country/location. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I’m travelling at the moment and using hotels free WiFi - totally open so using ExpressVPN which I always use for travelling. Anyway, I can’t access Vital when connected. Just in a constant loop whilst SpamFireWall is checking my connection?

Good find! The income statement alone doesn’t tell the whole story, and we really need more context to piece together what went wrong. Unfortunately, some of the key financials I was itching to see are “sealed” in the full document. That said, there’s still plenty of useful information in the PDF—and yes, I did wear my Patagonia vest today. Profitability Rocky wasn’t particularly profitable even in 2022, and things fell apart in 2023 and beyond (as shown by net income, which doesn’t give the full picture but is telling). This is surprising, considering 2020–2022 were peak COVID years. For context...

Personally I'd say most of us subscribed to this thread do. If you find his posts too long winded then fair enough, don't read them, but for me Jeff brings great insight and knowledge to the thread, he's certainly given me a better understanding of the financial side of the bike world.

https://bicycleretailer.com/industry-news/2024/12/17/gt-bicycles-pausin… Some of this contradicts what Phil, Skills With claimed in his video. I wonder where the truth lies.

Correct, basically just reposting an ad by a Chinese company, with no 3rd party assessment. Maybe it’s a great product, but I thought vital was more of a review site, rather than an advertising platform. Simple things like there are no 14 speed cassettes yet, and no real way to set the indexing between sram and shimano standards (although very small) and the obvious name of “GX” coincidentally the same letters SRAM uses for their lower end wireless drivetrain, make seem like another low effort Chinese product with a lot more refining to be done before brought to market.

The difference between the 2 is that Red Bull's events are private events, organised, produced & broadcast by them. They can invite whoever they want, no one can argue otherwise. WBD are organising World Cups on behalf of the UCI, the world governing body for competitive cycling events. They should be completely neutral & the only way to be free from bias/influence is to go off points for all teams. Personal opinion... I don't agree with handing control of the highest level of a sport to a TV production company to shape it how they want. I think I might've...

This - Sports Direct (Mike Ashley..) bought it all up. They also operate Evans Cycles - if you go to their site you'll see some bits and pieces but its not a great shop. General view is that Mike Ashley is a parasite and tends to strip anything of value from his stores - Evans Cycles used to be a...

I asked ChatGPT what Sesame Seed was talking about and to be okay with being brutally honest and distasteful if it wants. Enjoy: This comment seems to be a convoluted attempt at drawing parallels between professional bike racing and motorsports, particularly Formula 1, but it’s a jumbled mess of loose associations and misplaced terminology. Let’s break it down brutally: 1. Chain Drive Skepticism : The commenter kicks off with skepticism about recent changes to bike racing due to “chain drive,” but gives no real details or context for what exactly they are skeptical about. It feels like they are grasping...

Don’t watch the replay. Boycot this. Give it no more views. They don’t deserve it. Maybe they will finally figure out they are screwing up.

Relating to WAO : back in the day when Evil bikes started making a chainguide and other components, they created the e.thirteen brand to separate that business from their bike line. Probably to mitigate the aftermarket issue WAO is dealing with.
