I thought Pierron's head tube angle looked steep, and by my Photoshop measurements (after leveling the wheels), it looks like it's 64.0 vs 62.2 on Coulanges' bike (which looked like the slackest of the bunch). I don't know if that's relevant or not for any of you, but I felt like checking it out haha!

So was it something similar to a gym pre workout? I remember those guys being sponsored by Ryno power. But regards to all that, the past is the past. Jared is passionate about the sport, and has contributed a lot to it over the year. I don’t think mountain biking needs to jump on the ‘cancel society’ band wagon.

Jared used a sports supplement that had minute traces of banned stimulants that wasn’t in the ingredients list. He has used legal sports supplements most of his career and unfortunately didn’t think to verify there weren’t ingredients that were either labeled differently or not at all. Richie was having a great race (he won every stage that race) and was dehydrated so Jared gave him water that had the tainted supplement in it.
