IMO sram quality is poor, the old 11 speed stuff was great, the 12 speed stuff is garbage. Soft cassettes, shot jockey wheel bearings, clutches that barely do 6 months. How are you killing the mechs?

How did you destroy the two SLX derailleurs? I'm asking because I'm not sure a XTR or GX rear derailleur is gonna be more resistant to direct rock strikes, for instance.

Joined in July of this year, lol... From my experience with ebike riding and racing it's not really "easier" physically. Although the transfers in an EWS style event would be much less significant on an ebike. So I don't know if the statement made in the opening post regarding Sam potentially racing EWS-e due to physical limitations is plausible. I bet he is doing it because it's fun :-)

Shouldn't it be time for Red Bull UK to sign Reece Wilson? They've had tremendous success with Tom Pidcock and Evie Richards on the XC side this year and they should also have a consistent podium threat on the elite men side of DH. With Gee out and Kade being more of a freerider these days, it seems only Laurie Greenland has so far been Red Bull UK's only bet lately. It would also help if they had another Scotsman on the mtb roster outside of Danny MacAskill (and the occasional Kriss Kyle appearance on dirt). Reece proved this year...

I really don't see Maes leaving GT and I don't see why he would pick Orbea. If Maes is moving, and that's a big if, it's more likely for him to join Atherton Racing than a team with a manager he barely knows and riders he doesn't usually hang out with.

Can’t see much a reason for luca to change or Santa to drop luca. Maybe if he was joining trek along jolanda but they seem to be pretty stocked on riders atm. I have been a Gwin fan since his breakout ride on Yeti, but I feel like he doesn't have the same intensity as those days. He has everything now: millions, a palace in SoCal, wife, not to mention that he is just getting older. Naturally he isn't going to be as hungry/risk as much to try and win as he once did.
