In the next 3-4 years I can see the WC DH becoming similar to Formula One. Only elite top 20/30 riders at each event (chosen by teams instead of UCI points) Qualifying returns to normal and timings will fit better for TV. With less riders the track will be in better condition, less expensive to run (maintenance, logistics?) This could open the way to more resorts hosting a WC and more rounds per year.

Just watched it for a 3rd time. That would look insane in person. It's like a fest series level of racing, absolutely massive and full commitment. Tech mixed with mega booters, not a bad combo for spectators.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Martin is the Team owner and he approached YT to be the frame supplier. I see it similar to the MS team, how it was MS - intense, MS- Evil, MS - Mondraker etc.

brines, i just want to hear your theory on air vs. coil and flat tires. doing a QUICK cruise of richie's insta - https://www.instagram.com/richie_rude1/ - looks like he's been on an air shock since like june of 2017 until whistler this past weekend. don't hold me to this as fact. Crazy train was proper rough this year. Opted for the coil to handle the millions of roots out there. I think it paid off ?. @fox #ridefox @davetrumporephoto ? This... This happened to me the other day, aggressor dd, 30 psi, and huck norris. Stupid line choice on my part while hauling the mail trying to hit rock gaps on an old ohv trail. Racing isn't always about who is the fastest.

Helmets, always... If they get head injury without any helmet on, don't expect to raise funds to help them recover afterwards... You had the choice, you made the wrong one, deal with it now. When you see how it can go wrong with a full face helmet (brain injuries, knockouts...), putting on an helmet should be a reflex.
