Is it possible that Graves chose not to resign a contract? We have no idea what is happening behind the scenes, what they have done to help him or haven’t done. Maybe he doesn’t want to possibly take a spot from an active racer. To blame Specialized right now seems like a reason to hate based on the past.

I doubt it’s CRC he’ll be on. More likely I would say is that he’d stay with Hope/Öhlins, but on a Nukeproof frame. That give Nukeproof a well established UK rider on the WC without going to the trouble of setting up a full team, pits, support etc. which would be a big investment as it would have to be separate from the EWS crew I’d have thought...

Blanket statement here, but you had a high growth area in cycling and racing that was unmonitored for YEARS. I personally do not believe for a second that the sport was clean in the early days up until the association with UCI started recently.
