He needs to move on for his own development and to be made to feel numero uno. From what I understand the Yorkshire chap is amazing as a teacher and mentor for young racers and becoming their race weekend Dad. Which is great and will be of benefit until you're at the top and you feel this advice/attention/fuss creates stress and distraction.

11/20/2020 1:04pm Hell I'd argue 4-5 pretty great bikes, if you're talking about 4k each in cad, usd, aus, whatever. Hardtail, trail bike, enduro, DH could all be pretty slick if you spread the money around right. Just insane pricing

Just amazing. I think Peaty got a couple top tens when he was 38 or 39 and I remember thinking that was totally insane, to win at that age is goat material. Something I haven't seen in a while: winningest bikes list. Would be curious to see how legacy bikes like the V10/Demo stack up to some of the newcomers racking up podiums and wins such as YT, Commencal, etc.

This was in his and the Syndicate's Insta stories. He switched back to a standard (read: shorter) 29 rear end to get more maneuverability in the tight corners.

To add to that, i don‘t think the competition was as tight when nico did his wins as it is nowadays Apart from that, sam hill is the GOAT, because riding clipped in is cheating ;-)

Can you share more specifics on your setup? Very interested to hear how the tubolito interacts with the cushcore within the tyre. I assume the tube sits on the outside against the tyre carcass, but how does the valve fit through the cushcore and rim? What size wheel, tyre and tubolito are you running?

I think he should most certainly keep his result. Its obvious this wasn't intentional and its also pretty clear it cost him some time. So since it gave his run no advantage (quite the opposite actually) i'd say let him keep his result!
