There are going to be some great bikes released soon that should fit your needs. FWIW, my wife has a medium orbea rise, and the 445mm rc / 760 fc (450 reach) is imo a perfectly balanced bike. There are about to be a flood of ebikes on the market with dialed fc/rc ratios because of the revolution in drive unit tech, if not a handful of them that have chainstays that I feel are a bit too short, even in size medium (pivot shuttle sl for example). The new Fauza and TQ drive units for example, are allowing chainstays...

I pick appropriately sized chainstays for the front center personally.

I've had several ebikes... none have had chainstays any longer then 445. With a mullet setup, there is no real reason you can't get chainstays down shorter, other then that fact that you don't really need them that short. I digress... having a 465mm chainstay on a bike with a front center under 800mm is bonkers. This is just a catalog carbon ebike that's been adapted from a bafang m500 mount to work with the ananda m230.

I personally really like the idea of being able to buy a more cost effective frame, paired with quality but cost effective brakes and drivetrain with top tier suspension. I think that build option is generally missing with many brands (santacruz for example) and that build kit is very well received when executed correctly (ibis af series, transition gx alloy). In this case, I think norco was caught between a bit of a rock and a hard place. Ideally, they'd probably liked to have shipped the top tier model with Performance Elite spec products front/rear... but the 34 performance elite...
